Chapter 45 Third Party

This title, seemingly superficial, held absolute authority over the upcoming Fuguo system. It was a power granted by higher authorities and the focal point of this discussion.

Fulu Hai led Liu Sandao to a separate courtyard. This was located at No. 1 Jianshe Avenue in Sandong City, directly accessible by taxi. However, the most striking features were the guard posts on either side. The guards were personnel from the Chinese army, their every movement precise and orderly, clearly indicating the significant status of the residents within. For Liu Sandao, accustomed to freedom, this was a formal introduction to true authority.

Upon alighting from the car, someone approached to inquire. Upon recognizing Fulu Hai, the person immediately saluted. They then exchanged a few words naturally. They were familiar with each other, as Fulu Hai frequently entered and exited this place, having been quite inebriated on several occasions.

Liu Sandao noticed a stone, about a person's height, to the right of the main gate. Two characters, "Ru Yuan," were inscribed on it, standing out prominently. Stepping through the gate, the landscaping within was remarkably unique. A winding path meandered alongside flowing clear water, with a small mountain nestled in the center.

Zhao Qiansun was standing outside the door, watching them enter. "Old leader, the person you wished to meet, I've brought him!" Fulu Hai said naturally.

"You are Liu Sandao? A pleasure, a pleasure," Zhao Qiansun said politely.

"Yes, hello," Liu Sandao replied.

"Young man, you have a fine appearance, impressive," Zhao Qiansun remarked. Liu Sandao merely nodded appropriately, nothing more. He was not accustomed to such pleasantries.

Of course, Zhao Qiansun was unaware of Liu Sandao's true background. With his own spiritual power, he hadn't detected anything unusual during their first meeting. Fulu Hai had only told him that Liu Sandao was a rogue immortal from Mount Dazhou and that he had hired him for work, unexpectedly finding him quite insightful about the reform matters.

Zhao Qiansun led them to the living room and ordered tea to be served. This place, besides receiving some deities, also hosted officials from the mortal realm. Naturally, this was related to his work and status. Therefore, the tea was also a renowned brand from the mortal world.

After a few polite exchanges, Zhao Qiansun, seeing Liu Sandao's reticence and Fulu Hai's genial demeanor, got straight to the point. As soon as the topic of the Fuguo release system was brought up, Liu Sandao seemed to open a floodgate, recounting everything from the day he descended to the mortal realm. Fulu Hai found it difficult to interject. Zhao Qiansun, however, nodded in satisfaction.

Liu Sandao occasionally asked Zhao Qiansun for his opinions. Zhao Qiansun stated he had none, that it was primarily the will of higher authorities. Based on the information Liu Sandao had previously provided and his current exposition, this system would require a dedicated third party to manage the Fuguo and finances. The newly established company, Ying Bafang, was clearly unsuitable. Moreover, as the most crucial link in the distribution of Fuguo, it demanded a reliable, powerful, and resource-rich department or company. Of course, as the primary initiator, Ying Bafang could not absolve itself of responsibility. After all, its operation was essential.

The matter seemed simple, yet the discussion was lengthy. Three to four hours passed unknowingly. Fortunately, an agreement was reached in the end. Ying Bafang would have absolute control over the Fuguo release system; however, the preservation of Fuguo and the management of finances would be under the control of Xiahua Bank, but its operational rights and strategies would be subordinate to Ying Bafang's business strategy.

Liu Sandao was not entirely clear about some operational aspects, so he made these demands based on his intuition. Naturally, the final interpretation rights of Fuguo would belong to the Heavenly Court, which was unquestionable and the primary goal of today's discussion. Otherwise, Ying Bafang would be unable to move forward.

Fulu Hai had initially worried that Liu Sandao and Zhao Qiansun would argue heatedly. He needn't have concerned himself; the matter was settled, much to everyone's delight. At this point, the operational framework of Ying Bafang was truly established.

However, Zhao Qiansun still offered a suggestion. He proposed elevating Ying Bafang directly to the group level, as psychological counseling alone was too narrow and hindered the work. Fulu Hai accepted this unconditionally.

With most of the discussions concluded, Zhao Qiansun arranged for dinner. Alcohol was, of course, inevitable. Liu Sandao was resistant at the thought of drinking, remembering past unpleasant experiences. However, Zhao Qiansun, experienced in social etiquette, stated at the table, "This wine has little potency; a little won't hurt." Fulu Hai, fond of alcohol, naturally sided with Zhao Qiansun. Thus, through this back and forth, Liu Sandao also had a few drinks.

The wine was ultimately no match for Fulu Hai's Immortal's Delight, but in the mortal realm, this was top-tier liquor in China. However, its intoxicating effect was indeed minimal; as they left Ru Yuan, Liu Sandao felt perfectly sober. He remembered Zhao Qiansun saying they would be notified once the approval process from higher authorities was complete.

Fulu Hai, who should have been able to hold his liquor better than Liu Sandao, was completely passed out by the time they emerged from Ru Yuan. Liu Sandao couldn't figure out why. Fortunately, it was already late at night when they left. As soon as they turned the corner outside the gate, Liu Sandao flicked his sleeve, and the two instantly returned to their dormitory.

A few days later, Fulu Hai was notified to go to Xiahua Bank to complete the procedures. Soon after, Liu Sandao saw the formal contract. Xiahua Bank, as the third party, would be solely responsible for the exchange of Fuguo and money, handling it in its entirety. This was an outcome that neither Ying Bafang nor the Heavenly Court could avoid. The good news was that Ying Bafang had once again secured sufficient funding, preparing to establish Ying Bafang Group, thus expanding its scope of business and industries.

Fulu Hai immediately returned to Yaotian Building and rented out the two floors directly below the top floor. Liu Sandao initially disagreed, but Fulu Hai insisted that with money, they should act like they had money. No one knew what had possessed him; it was as if he had undergone a transformation.

However, Liu Sandao's primary concern was determining the specific businesses and opportunities for the subsidiaries of the group. This matter consumed half a month. Finally, the various subsidiaries of the group began to take shape: Ying Bafang Psychological Consulting Co., Ltd., Ying Bafang Population Data Analysis Technology Co., Ltd., Ying Bafang Charitable Foundation Headquarters, Ying Bafang Designated Rescue Stations, and Ying Bafang Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd.

Consequently, the company urgently needed various talents. After consideration, Liu Sandao decided that only the top floor would serve as office space for himself and Fulu Hai. The floors below could be considered for other companies' offices. Fulu Hai felt that five company offices were insufficient, so he rented two more floors. This time, however, he did not choose adjacent floors. Doing so would incur significant breach of contract fees. He opted for two of the remaining vacant floors in the middle of Yaotian Building. Following this, Ying Bafang became well-known within Yaotian Building, becoming the largest company in the building besides the Yaotian Group itself. The extensive recruitment process then commenced.
