Chapter 177 Just Sweet Enough

Chapter 177: Chapter 177 Just Sweet Enough

Sure enough, once the name was changed, that strange chill threatening his life disappeared.

"Let’s go take the car." Benjamin Smith grabbed Julian Campbell and ran towards their car.

Julian Campbell was dragged away like a dead dog.

Sophie Wilson turned to Charles Seymour and asked, "Do you think I can act well?"

Without a second thought, Charles Seymour blurted out, "Yes!"

Sophie Wilson’s eyes curved into a smile. She was still a bit curious as she had never acted before: "Then let’s give it a try."

"Okay." Charles Seymour nodded, took Sophie Wilson’s hand, and went back to the car, then instructed the driver to follow behind Benjamin Smith’s car.

Sitting in the car, Charles Seymour kept staring at Sophie Wilson.

Sophie Wilson quickly unpacked the bag she held and took out ice cream, fortunately, there was an ice pack, so it didn’t melt.

"Here, one for each." Sophie Wilson stuffed a small box of ice cream into Charles Seymour’s hand, handing him a spoon.

Charles Seymour opened the lid, scooped out a spoonful, put it in his mouth, and ate it particularly carefully.

"Is it good?" Sophie Wilson asked curiously, wondering if some boys don’t like this sort of thing.

"Yeah." Charles Seymour nodded, thought for a moment, and commented, "Sweet. Just sweet enough."

"As long as you like it, I’ll buy more next time." Sophie Wilson nodded happily, finally finding something Charles Seymour enjoyed, feeling delighted.

The driver upfront quietly complained in his heart, what the gentleman likes is not the ice cream itself, but the ice cream bought by Miss Wilson.

Of course, his professionalism wouldn’t let him speak up, instead, he followed closely behind the car the gentleman instructed him to follow.

Soon, they arrived at the audition venue.

With Benjamin Smith, the big-screenwriter, leading the way, they naturally took the internal elevator straight up, avoiding the crowds.

"This is the audition script for later, take a look first." Benjamin Smith settled Sophie Wilson in and went directly to the adjacent audition room.

Originally, once the audition room’s door was closed, there should’ve been no sound coming to Sophie Wilson’s side, but then Julian Campbell just went in, and the door wasn’t closed tightly, so he shouted, "Ophelia Wilson, what are you doing here?"

Moreover, just at that moment of opening and closing the door, Sophie Wilson seemed to see a familiar figure.

The door closed, isolating the two rooms, Sophie Wilson tugged at Charles Seymour’s sleeve and whispered, "I think I just saw Grace Wilson."

"Grace Wilson?" Charles Seymour frowned in confusion. How did she get into the entertainment industry?

Sophie Wilson said amusedly, "Grace Wilson is capable, finding a way so quickly, her connections are really wide."

Sophie Wilson didn’t pay it any mind, instead, she sat down and started reviewing the audition script in her hands.

Having no formal training in acting, Sophie Wilson was unsure how to professionally analyze the character.

However, the audition script given to Sophie Wilson was quite interesting. After looking at it several times, she glanced at Charles Seymour, her complex gaze made him a bit uneasy.

Why is she looking at him like that?

While Charles Seymour was puzzled, the audition room was lively.

"Why is the lead actress in this drama replaced?" Julian Campbell angrily questioned Benjamin Smith.

Benjamin Smith also glared at the drama’s director and producer: "Why changed the lead actress, I have no idea!"

He was the screenplay writer of this drama, why wasn’t he informed?

"Teacher Smith, there’s really no choice. That person had an accident, got injured, and couldn’t make it in time." The producer quickly explained, not wanting to offend Benjamin Smith.

"In this crew, it’s either me or her, if she’s here, I’m not!" Julian Campbell dropped the statement decisively.
