Chapter 211: Chapter 211 Absolutely Not Allowed
"Which, which, which restaurant?" The assistant could barely speak coherently.
"Isn’t that place only open for dinner? Do they even offer takeout?" The assistant’s voice almost went out of control, jumping an octave.
Fortunately, he remembered they were on set and quickly toned it down.
If he had known earlier there was takeout, he would have ordered it for Brother Wells.
Edward Sherwood silently glanced at him, wondering if his assistant was foolish.
That restaurant doesn’t even entertain walk-in guests, let alone offer takeout!
As soon as the words left his mouth, the assistant realized he said something stupid. Then, seeing Edward’s look, he silently covered his face, "So, how did Sophie Wilson get takeout?"
"Apparently, her boyfriend ordered it for her." Earlier, during the meal, Edward had chatted a bit with Sophie and Julian Campbell.
The relevant information was known.
Besides, Sophie Wilson hasn’t hidden the fact she has a boyfriend.
The assistant was shocked, his eyes wide—Sophie Wilson’s boyfriend... Is he really that capable?
That restaurant doesn’t bow to anyone’s status.
"No need to worry." Edward said with a smile. He never really liked Ophelia Wilson, just maintained superficial politeness.
Compared to Ophelia, Julian Campbell was worth befriending. They were considered friends and naturally closer than with Ophelia.
The assistant let out a sigh of relief; only then did he feel at ease.
Of course, the assistant wasn’t foolish enough to urge Edward to curry favor with Sophie.
Given Brother Well’s status, there’s absolutely no need. Besides, Brother Wells isn’t that kind of person.
Ever since Grace Wilson calmed down, filming has been going smoothly.
For a newcomer, Grace Wilson did quite well under the special guidance brought in by Ophelia.
However, compared to Sophie Wilson, she seemed lackluster.
"Alright, that’s a wrap!" The director excitedly clapped his hands, watching the screen, nodding with satisfaction, "This girl truly has talent."
She conveyed the complex inner thoughts of a mole through her expressions vividly, to the point where even the director often found himself drawn in, believing Sophie was truly a mole.
"Obviously, I mean, look who chose her." The most excited was probably Benjamin Smith—he had firmly supported Sophie Wilson against all opposition at the time.
Look at Sophie’s performance now; she’s really making him proud.
Suddenly, there was a commotion on set, catching the director’s attention: "What’s going on?"
"Director, it’s Sophie’s boyfriend who had people send over snacks and drinks." The assistant director cheerfully walked over with a few bags in hand.
"Sophie’s boyfriend is really considerate." The director smiled as he opened the bags, sighing lightly, "Sophie’s boyfriend is wealthy, huh?"
These are products from the city’s five-star hotel restaurant, known for their delicious snacks, and certainly not cheap.
Treating the whole crew, definitely... generous.
Benjamin Smith leisurely munched away, thinking Sophie’s boyfriend, with the surname Xi, wouldn’t consider this money a big deal.
Oddly feeling like a wise man amongst the oblivious crowd, Benjamin quite enjoyed the feeling.
Ophelia Wilson thanked the staff bringing the snacks with a smile but felt a blockage in her heart.
Sophie Wilson was doing better and better in the crew.
Her acting skills were decent, and she knew how to get along, making quite a few crew members fond of her.
Can she just watch Sophie get popular and then steal her parents away?
No way!
