Flower of the Celestial Origin

Chapter 264 Team A Captain

"Bastard! Do you know who you're talking to?" Caenis glared at Li Xing.

"I do. Goddess Caenis, isn't it?"

Hearing Li Xing's nonchalant reply, Caenis's anger surged. His attitude was infuriating.

"Die!"

Caenis wasted no more words, swinging her spear at Li Xing, determined to make this third-rate god who disrespected her pay the price.

"Mr. Li Xing, be careful!" Mash exclaimed.

However, Li Xing paid Caenis's attack little mind. Physical attacks alone could not harm him.

"Butterfly Dance!"

Li Xing twisted his body, easily evading Caenis's spear. The Star Cloud Blade, wielded by Li Xing, appeared to others as if a butterfly was dancing.

"Clang!"

The Star Cloud Blade smoothly grazed Caenis's chest, but it produced the sound of clashing weapons. Everyone except Li Xing was stunned. Caenis was practically invincible in Atlantis, as long as she had the blessing of Poseidon.

Caenis smirked, "Rats, do you finally understand the gap between us? That's right, on this sea, I am invincible. You have no chance of winning."

"Invincible? I haven't even said the word yet, and you're already invincible," Li Xing said calmly, slowly sheathing his blade.

"Divine Core, Master! Give me Poseidon's Divine Core!" Jason, remembering Caenis's weakness, shouted.

Caenis gasped, "How do you have Poseidon's Divine Core?"

Fujimaru Ritsuka quickly threw Poseidon's Divine Core to Jason. Caenis tried to snatch it back, but Li Xing blocked her with a swift sword strike.

Li Xing tossed a sword to Jason. Jason caught it and swung it at Caenis. Caenis tried to block with her shield, but Li Xing kept harassing her, preventing her from defending. Jason managed to draw blood from her arm.

"Damn it!" Caenis roared, her eyes blazing with uncontrollable rage, yet she could do nothing about Li Xing.

Jason's previous attack was merely to verify his guess. He had now confirmed Caenis's weakness and handed Poseidon's Divine Core to Orion, the son of the sea god, to deal with Caenis.

"Leave it to me!"

With Poseidon's Divine Core, Orion swung his club and struck Caenis's shield. This blow shattered Caenis's divine blessing, meaning she was no longer invincible.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! I'll kill you all!"

Caenis cursed incessantly, but she was being suppressed by Orion, and her body was already covered in wounds. At this moment, Caenis was considering retreating, but she had no opportunity.

Surrounded by other Servants behind her and Orion's relentless assault from the front, Caenis was heavily wounded by their combined attack.

"Damn… I can't see anything… am I going to die? No… I haven't witnessed the demise of these scoundrels yet, nor… repaid them…"

"Still spewing nonsense. Your mouth is still as stubborn as ever, Orion. Finish her off quickly!" Jason saw the heavily injured Caenis still alive and urged Orion to deliver the final blow.

As Orion was about to strike the killing blow, the sky suddenly distorted, and the surroundings began to shift. Kirschtaria Wodime, the leader of the Lostbelt, appeared from above, accompanied by two divine siblings, Castor and Pollux.

"Long time no see, Mash Kyrielight, and the only Master after our departure, Fujimaru Ritsuka. I offer my sincere respect for your struggles, which is why I am here. I am Kirschtaria Wodime, leader of the Lostbelt and Master of this Atlantic Lostbelt."

Kirschtaria held a staff and smiled at the two Chaldean members before him. He then had the divine siblings Dioscuri take Caenis away. These divine siblings were Kirschtaria's Servants.

Although the two divine beings were reluctant, they obeyed Kirschtaria and carried Caenis away, leaving Kirschtaria alone.

Jason, seeing only one human remaining, thought it was the perfect opportunity and prepared to attack. However, Mash suddenly questioned Kirschtaria, "Why? The members of Team A were all from Chaldea, fighting together to protect human history. But now, why have you become enemies?"

Kirschtaria chuckled, "At this point, do you still need to ask something so obvious? I declared my goal from the beginning: to restore the Age of Gods, a world where humans and gods coexist!"

Jason had no time for pleasantries with the enemy. He immediately ordered Fujimaru Ritsuka to prepare for battle. Fujimaru Ritsuka, without further hesitation, issued the combat order.

However, Kirschtaria showed no panic, instead remaining composed. He raised one hand and slowly ascended into the air.

"Form of the Star! Form of the Cosmos! Form of the Gods! Form of Myself! Celestial bodies are but hollows! Hollows are but the void! The void is sustained by the Divine! Grand Order/Humanity Protection Celestial Sphere!"

As Kirschtaria chanted, all the Servants collapsed. Powerful mana surged around them. A colossal magical circuit appeared in the starry sky, and countless burning meteors descended rapidly from the heavens.

"Meteors? This…"

Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash despaired at Kirschtaria's power. It was no less potent than Artemis's arrows, offering no escape. The attack targeted the entire ocean.

"I'll try!"

With that, Li Xing soared into the sky, heading towards the meteors. A sword sheath appeared in his hand. Infusing it with immense power, just as Li Xing was about to absorb all the meteors into his world, a flash of light occurred, and all the meteors vanished.

"Li Xing, did you succeed?" Fujimaru Ritsuka was utterly bewildered. What had just happened?

Li Xing frowned and quickly put away the sword sheath. It was the real deal, stolen from Emiya Shirou's body – Avalon, the ultimate defense.

"Kirschtaria, you were saved from death once by the Alien God. So, Chaldea should be saved from death once as well. That would be fair, wouldn't it? If you stop here, I will also leave."

A cloaked figure appeared before them. Their voice was cold, but their actions were not.

Kirschtaria smiled, "You are the mage who has been helping humanity in various Lostbelts, aren't you? You speak well. Both sides must be fair. If you attack again, it will be the second time. Chaldea, we will save our battle for another time!"

As Kirschtaria disappeared, a gust of wind blew off the mysterious figure's cloak, revealing their face.

"Doctor? Doctor!" Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash cried out simultaneously.

But the man with the same face as Dr. Romanie simply told Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash not to mention it, that it would end here. He also hinted that there were untrustworthy individuals within Chaldea before vanishing from the Lostbelt.

(Apologies, much has been omitted, but I felt the pacing was still a bit slow.)
