Chapter 145: Baby, Cheers to Forever

Chapter 145: Chapter 145: Baby, Cheers to Forever

~Evric’s POV~

I waited for Zayn. It took him almost an hour before he returned with his friends, and when he did, he wasn’t the same person I knew. Things like this always cut deep into him. But this time... something was different.

He walked straight to me, sat down, and clung to me without a word. His eyes found mine, and I could see everything he wasn’t saying burning quietly in them. I didn’t ask what he and his friends had talked about; I only asked if he was okay. He nodded, insisting he was fine, but I knew him too well. He was far from fine.

The way he gripped my hands, the way his body leaned into me, it spoke louder than anything he could say. He was holding on, carrying pain he didn’t want to share yet. But I knew he wouldn’t distance himself from me this time. And as long as he stayed by my side, I could wait, for him to calm down, for him to breathe again. All I wanted was to be here for him, be his anchor and comfort.

He stared at me for a while, his eyes heavy with emotions he couldn’t hide, before finally saying, "Babe."

"Yes?" I answered softly.

"Kiss me."

A smile tugged at my lips, and in the next moment, I leaned in and claimed his mouth. The world around us blurred into nothing but the warmth of his lips, but I could feel the weight of eyes watching. Zayn didn’t care anymore, he was already hurting, and in that hurt, he had lost whatever shame might have held him back.

Nuala and Liana giggled nearby, blushing and snapping pictures of us, whispering things I couldn’t catch.

As we kissed, my body betrayed me, hard and aching for him. I caught his hand on the table, guiding it down to press against my cock, letting him feel how much I had missed him, how badly I wanted him.

He pulled back with a slight smile, and I couldn’t stop mine from breaking through. Seeing that little smile on his face, it was everything. I leaned closer, whispering against his ear, "Two weeks and a few days, baby. I tried, right?"

He kept smiling, shaking his head slightly. "It’s not that long. It’s not even a year."

I brushed a strand of hair from his eyes, my voice low and teasing. "Baby, if I were single, I could wait a year. But having someone as tempting as you? I can’t even last a month. And if I try to last a month... then when I finally have you, I’ll be on top of you for a full week, straight, without giving you a single break."

Zayn laughed softly, his voice warm. "Can you really last that long?"

I kissed him again, just briefly, and whispered against his lips, "Don’t dare me."

He smiled wider, shaking his head. "I know you’re strong, but one full week without a break? You have to pity me. Unless you want to ruin my bottom for me..."

I cupped his face gently, looking into his eyes as I spoke. "Baby, I’ll never do such a thing. I would never hurt you, talk less of ruining my beautiful bottom. I’ll always consider your health, your well-being. More than anything, I want you to be comfortable with me."

I kissed the corner of his lips before continuing, my voice low, possessive, meant only for him. "That’s why I said, it doesn’t matter I penetrate you all the time. I’ll always find my way around you, in so many ways. You know it. Just allow me to touch all those sensitive parts of yours... that’s all I ask. Because you know I can make you cum countless times with nothing but my voice."

I let my words linger, leaning close enough for him to feel my breath. "Whether it’s raw inside you, frotting, grinding, sucking, or just slow, deep romance... no matter the way I take you, you’ll always crave every touch of mine. And I’ll always make sure you love it."

He smiled softly, his eyes shining with both trust and desire. "Okay," he whispered, his lips curving upward. "I know."

I looked into his eyes, letting every ounce of my heart show. "I love you, Zayn," I whispered.

His lips curved into a soft smile as he replied, "I love you too, Evric."

I leaned closer, pressing my lips against the heat of his neck, breathing him in like he was the only air I needed. His scent wrapped around me, pulling me deeper into him. "You smell so good, baby," I murmured against his skin. "I love everything about you."

He chuckled lightly, the sound soft and sweet, and whispered back, "Thank you, baby."

Just then, the fresh order I’d made arrived, another round of different meals, wine, and drinks, all of it just to make my man’s day special. I wanted Zayn to feel nothing but love tonight.

But from the other side of the table, I could feel someone’s eyes burning into us. Nicki. His gaze carried pure jealousy, regret, and a kind of pain that told me he knew, he had truly lost me forever.

I slipped my arm around Zayn’s waist and pulled him close, kissing his forehead, his nose, his cheeks, and finally his lips. Each kiss made him giggle softly, and though I knew his heart was heavy, I wanted to lighten it with my touch, even just a little.

I poured him a glass and pushed it gently toward him. "Drink a little, baby," I told him with a tiny smile. "I want you fully aware of what will happen tonight."

He smirked, lifting the glass but not breaking eye contact. "I already know. I can’t escape that."

We both smiled at each other, and I leaned in, brushing my lips against his ear. "You can escape it if you want, baby. If you don’t want it tonight, I can wait. I’ll wait until you’re ready."

But instead of pulling back, he pressed his lips to mine in a brief kiss, then whispered into my ear, his voice low, hungry, and enough to make my whole body react.

"Daddy, you’re not the only one who missed me. I can’t wait for you to fuck me so hard tonight... just go deep inside me, Daddy."

I inhaled sharply, swallowing down every word, letting the heat of them burn through me. "You’ll love my services tonight," I murmured back, my voice rougher than I intended.

He smiled, his eyes glinting. "I trust you. You never disappoint in that aspect."

Time passed, and as midnight drew near, the celebration of his birthday was almost over. I stood and raised my glass, calling out, "Everyone, let’s cheer together for Zayn’s long life."

Chairs scraped as everyone stood, raising their glasses in unison.

But when the clinking ended, I turned back to Zayn, blocking the whole world out. I lifted my glass toward him alone and said, soft but sure, "Baby, cheers to forever."

His smile deepened, and he clinked his glass against mine. I leaned in and kissed him, slow and claiming, in front of everyone standing and gazing at us.

That was when Nicki snapped. The table shook under his fists as he pounded it hard, his chair scraping back as he stormed out in anger.

But I didn’t care. Not anymore. My whole world was standing right in front of me.

Just, as I expected, my phone buzzed Nicki sent me a message: "Evric, can we talk?"
