Chapter 6 PV Appears, Two Gods Arrive

"So, I'm saying, when is Lisa coming back? Where has this person gone?"

Diluc had been waiting in the office for half an hour. Acting Grand Master Jean was about to finish her shift, yet Lisa hadn't appeared. This was quite unusual. After all, she was the librarian; she wasn't supposed to be slacking off during work hours.

"Let's go first. We'll check out that shop you mentioned. As for Lisa, we can tell her later."

Acting Grand Master Jean had no idea where Lisa had gone either, so she said with a sigh.

"Alright, let's go then."

Meanwhile, on the other side, Lu Ze had finally finished producing his first PV. Looking at the result before him, he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and clicked on the player.

"Wait, wait, wait, hold on! Don't stab me, okay? If you want to stab someone, go stab the people in Teyvat."

Lu Ze quickly closed the player and used the system to project it onto the screen. The screen soon appeared above the Seven Nations, its immense virtual size leaving everyone in the Seven Nations bewildered. What was this thing?

"Hmm, Senior Diluc, could this be what you were talking about?"

Acting Grand Master Jean pointed at the giant screen in the sky. This thing was quite high-tech.

"I don't know either. It should be a new feature from the boss, right? Let's see what it's playing."

The two stopped in their tracks, staring intently at the screen above.

Liyue

Zhongli watched the display with amusement. It had been many years since anything so novel had appeared. He took a sip of hot tea and glanced at Hu Tao beside him, who was being restless again.

And little Hu Tao was busily pushing the Funeral Parlor's package service to everyone, truly dedicated to her work.

When she saw the screen in the sky, she froze. Her limited knowledge couldn't comprehend it; she had no idea what this thing was.

Inazuma

Raiden Ei frowned as she looked at the screen above. She didn't know if this thing would affect Eternity. If it did, she wouldn't hesitate to strike it down.

"Eternity is the unchanging law of the ages. Only Eternity is closest to the Heavenly Principles!"

Sumeru

Little Kusanali stared blankly at the object above. She hadn't seen anything new in years and was curious about everything. However, time did not allow her to slack off, as a major event was bound to happen, and she needed to be fully prepared.

Snezhnaya

The Cryo Archon looked at the display with arrogance. Beneath her feet lay her throne, a throne of ice and snow. In this land of frost and snow, she was the god who ruled everything.

"What is it? Let's just watch quietly."

...

Slowly, images began to appear on the screen.

"My name is Wendy. I graduated from St. Freya Academy. Everyone says I have the potential to become an S-rank Valkyrie, and Lord Durandal is my goal."

"But everything changed. Everything changed in New Zealand..."

On the screen, a group of people in white coats were holding a green gem, the Gem of Desire. They made an incision on Wendy's leg and began to transplant the gem. To maintain the gem's vitality, they had to find a host.

Everything went smoothly, and Wendy's surgery was a complete success. But that was all. From then on, she was paralyzed from the waist down and would spend her entire life in a wheelchair, her dream of becoming an S-rank Valkyrie shattered. Year after year, day after day, she remained there.

During this period, she was constantly eroded by the Gem of Desire, her consciousness gradually blurred, and she even began to merge with the consciousness within the Gem of Desire.

Until they arrived... true friends arrived...

The screen went black, and only voices could be heard.

"Wendy, I also have disabled legs, just like you, but I've managed to live on and am now a Valkyrie. You can do it too."

"Don't say such disheartening things. This young lady will accompany you back to St. Freya."

"Kiana! Stop causing trouble!"

As soon as the voices faded, a large Honkai Impact 3rd logo appeared on the screen.

Below it was the author's name: Lu Ze.

"Let us fight together for a beautiful world! The Honkai Impact 3rd offline experience store is located next to the Whispering Woods in Mondstadt. All are welcome."

The screen only remained visible for three seconds before disappearing as if nothing had happened. The people of Mondstadt were stunned. A store had appeared next to the Whispering Woods, and they had no idea?

"It's indeed that boss's doing. I must say, it's incredibly impressive. Perhaps I should discuss with him about helping promote my Dawn Winery next time."

Diluc pondered, trying to figure out what reason he could use to persuade that boss. Unbeknownst to him, Acting Grand Master Jean quietly wiped away a tear. She found it too sad to watch. Why was Wendy so pitiful? What happened to her later?!

"Senior Diluc, shouldn't we hurry over? I really want to ask the boss what happened to Wendy later!"

Diluc looked at her incredulously. He had rarely seen her exhibit such a girlish side. This... it seemed he had to take her there quickly.

Liyue

Hu Tao, with tear-streaked eyes and a pouting face, found Zhongli and accused the screen of making her cry.

"Ah, Guest Zhongli, what exactly was that? I want to go to Mondstadt to see it too. How about we don't do any Funeral Parlor business for a few days?"

"That would be excellent."

Inazuma

Raiden Ei looked at the screen in disbelief. It turned out to be just an animation. She had thought it was something else. Yet, her heart ached slightly. She was a god, after all.

"Kage, you haven't fallen for it, have you?"

Raiden Shogun looked at the blade in front of her speechlessly. If Raiden Ei hadn't fallen for it, her heart wouldn't ache so much.

"You heartless being, how can you understand our feelings? Alright, alright! Hurry up and follow me to Mondstadt. I'll find that boss and ask him, politely putting a knife to his throat, why Wendy is like this?!"

"Isn't that a bit too much? We're still in a period of isolation. Is it really okay for a god like you to go abroad?"

"I don't care! I must ask this question. Even the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles coming here won't stop me!"

Raiden Shogun nodded speechlessly.

Dragonspine Mountain

Venti looked speechlessly at the PV above his head. Good heavens, I've reached the snowy mountains, and you're doing this to me? You're trying to kill me, aren't you? You motherf***er!

"Forget it, I'll stealthily get the first clear. I want to play games, I want to play games! Five little mes are coming, 3000 crystals are coming, hehehe..."

Sumeru

Little Kusanali also wanted to go and argue with that boss, but unfortunately, her citizens disagreed. They had all confined her within the palace. Sigh, so annoying. If she didn't want to fight them, she would have defeated them long ago.

Two of the three gods were already heading to Mondstadt. Their destination was one: the Honkai Impact 3rd experience store!
