Yu He couldn't break free. Because she had rushed out, she hadn't managed to grab anything except her phone, or else she would have turned Li Sichen into a pincushion.
Li Sichen held Yu He tightly as he walked out of the styling salon, only releasing her just before they got into the car.
Yu He happened to see a traditional Chinese medicine shop nearby and went inside. Li Sichen, afraid she would run off, followed her in.
"Give me one qian of gleditsia seed powder, two qian of taro powder, a bottle of rootless water, and a packet of one-inch silver needles," Yu He said to the shop assistant.
"Okay," the assistant replied, casting a peculiar glance at Li Sichen's bright green hair while gathering Yu He's items.
Li Sichen, completely unfazed, asked Yu He, "What are you buying all this for?"
"You'll know soon enough." Yu He asked for the price and prepared to scan her phone to pay.
Li Sichen quickly pulled out his phone. "I'll get it, I'll get it." He then asked, "Is this a gift to prepare for meeting my parents?"
"No, you're overthinking it." Yu He, regardless of whether he paid or not, paid for it herself and walked out.
Li Sichen had just scanned the code and was entering the price. Seeing Yu He leave, he closed his phone and hurried to follow her.
Yu He got into the car and sat in the passenger seat. She poured the two types of powder into the rootless water and shook it a few times, creating a bottle of transparent, paste-like liquid.
Li Sichen was driving. Seeing her finish preparing the mixture, she started to apply it to herself. He curiously asked, "What is that you're making?"
"Itchy powder."
Li Sichen furrowed his brow slightly. "Why are you smearing that stuff on yourself?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw Yu He smear a handful onto the shoulder he had just held. "..."
Li Sichen: "Ahem, aren't you itchy?"
Then, he saw Yu He take out several silver needles and give herself a few acupuncture points.
He became a little suspicious. "Is this stuff effective?"

Li Haiyang didn't mind and gestured for her to go towards the head table. "It's alright, it's alright. Please come and sit here."
Seeing this, Li Xiyan looked wronged and indignant. She hadn't expected Li Sichen to invite someone she herself had wanted to invite but couldn't.
She turned and hugged Madam Li's arm, complaining, "Mom, Dad is scolding me..."
Madam Li first gave Yu He a forced smile and a greeting, then turned with a darkened face to Li Haiyang and said, "Why do you always take his side! Is Xiyan wrong? "Weren't you two? Yu He admitted it!" Li Sichen sneered.
Qin Beiting's phoenix eyes grew colder. "Do couples need to report their playful little games to you?"
Li Sichen was immediately choked, and he turned his gaze to Yu He, wanting her to speak.
"Sichen, let go!" At this moment, Li Haiyang, seeing more and more guests looking their way, reprimanded him coldly.
Most people knew that Qin Beiting and Yu He were the couple. Li Sichen dyeing his hair green and interfering in someone else's relationship was simply a family disgrace!
Li Sichen, however, was not afraid of things escalating and held onto Yu He's hand tightly.
Yu He was being pulled back and forth by the two of them in public, and she was utterly speechless. She pushed Qin Beiting. "Let go of me."
