"What's going on, did the power go out?"
Mu Linjing stood up to check if there was any light in the hallway, while fumbling for her phone.
It was pitch black outside, seemingly the entire hospital had lost power. The hallway grew noisy, with nurses telling patients not to wander around.
Hearing the sound of the ward door, Mu Linjing found her phone and was about to turn on the flashlight when it was suddenly snatched away. Before she could utter a sound, she felt a sharp blow to her neck and quickly lost consciousness.
