The next day, Chen Yang and Liu Ran arrived at the Tianliu Shopping Mall.
Liu Ran informed the human resources department, and then brought him his clothes and employee ID.
Liu Ran personally led Chen Yang towards the security department. For an establishment like the Tianliu Shopping Mall, the security department was a standalone entity.
Although the title of Security Captain was just that, a captain, his position was equivalent to that of a department manager.
After all, security was paramount within a shopping mall.
In many other companies, the security team was managed by the logistics department.
Upon entering the security department with Chen Yang, Liu Ran found over thirty security guards chatting and laughing, idly drinking tea, a picture of utter disarray.
Seeing someone enter, a few guards stood up, but the majority continued their conversations, paying little attention.
Liu Ran walked in with Chen Yang, clapped her hands, and announced, "Everyone, allow me to introduce a new colleague, Chen Yang, who is behind me. He will be a member of our security team from now on. Please welcome him."
Liu Ran finished her statement, expecting applause.
Logically, as a director of the shopping mall, she had the authority to make decisions within the Tianliu Shopping Mall, and thus the security team should naturally listen to her.
However, as Liu Ran's words hung in the air, no one applauded in welcome. Instead, all eyes turned to Chen Debiao, who was sitting in a corner.
Chen Debiao was the captain here.

Chen Debiao chuckled and stood up, addressing Liu Ran, "Director Liu, of course, we welcome new colleagues, especially someone you've arranged to join us. We will certainly take good care of him. Everyone, welcome!"
Following Chen Debiao's words, the entire security team erupted into a resounding applause.
Liu Ran nodded, then said to Chen Yang behind her, "Chen Yang, work hard. If you have any issues, you can directly approach Captain Chen, or of course, you can come to me."
With that, Liu Ran gave Chen Yang a charming smile and an encouraging look before hurriedly heading upstairs to continue her work at the Tianliu Shopping Mall.
Chen Yang felt a little speechless. How could this woman be so careless? Didn't she see that there was something wrong with this security team?

The surrounding security guards' eyes lit up upon hearing this.
