After fighting zombies for over an hour, both Luo Yunshi and Ming Yi were exhausted.
They returned to the "Good Luck Come" fast-food restaurant in silence, it was already four in the afternoon. With only an hour left until closing, Luo Yunshi asked Ming Yi to return to the dormitory to rest. She, however, sought out Shangguan He.
At that moment, Shangguan He and his group were eating boxed lunches, absorbing the energy within.
"Uncle He!"
Shangguan He looked at Luo Yunshi upon hearing her. "Miss Luo, is there something you need?"
Luo Yunshi recounted the events that had transpired between her and Ming Yi in the prefectural city.
"These are crystal cores. The different colors of the crystal cores represent different types of energy. Try and see which color you can absorb."
Luo Yunshi was unsure if the crystal cores in this ancient apocalypse were the same as those in the modern apocalypse, so she had people experiment.
Shangguan He and his group listened, their faces solemn. However, they also tried.
Shangguan He, being a strength-type ability user, tried crystal cores of each color. He discovered that when he held a transparent crystal core, he instantly felt the energy within his body being attracted to the energy in the crystal core.
He attempted to let the energy from the crystal core enter his body and soon succeeded. He then felt his own energy surge rapidly before condensing. He clearly felt that he was different now.
Luo Yunshi smiled when she felt the energy fluctuations from Shangguan He. "Uncle He, it seems you've advanced to become a Level 2 ability user. Congratulations!"
"This..." Shangguan He's face was full of shock. He never imagined that Luo Yunshi would bring him such benefits.
Shangguan He was emotionally moved. He quickly stood up and bowed deeply to Luo Yunshi. "Thank you, Miss Luo. If it weren't for you, I would never have broken through so quickly."

Fire-type ability users use red crystal cores; earth-type use orange; metal-type use yellow; wood-type use green; ice-type use cyan; water-type use blue; lightning-type use purple; wind-type and space-type use white; speed and strength use transparent. This was mostly consistent with the modern apocalypse, with only white and transparent being different.
As Shangguan He's family were the first to eat boxed lunches at the fast-food restaurant, and their physiques were better than others, they all advanced to Level 2 after using one crystal core.
Li Quancai, having awakened his space-type ability, did not advance, but his space had enlarged slightly.
Luo Yunshi was satisfied with this. She was one step closer to her goal of having her employees go out and attract customers, and her life of being a slacker.
"Miss Luo, the situation outside is dire. Are the crystal cores you brought back for sale?" Shangguan He asked.
Luo Yunshi nodded with a smile upon hearing this. "Yes, of course, they are for sale. There are many ability users here now. If we can help them become Level 2 ability users, that would naturally be a good thing."
Shangguan He was excited upon hearing this. "Good, then I will notify the others and tell them the importance of crystal cores. Then they can make their own choices." He said, preparing to leave.
"Uncle He, wait a moment. I have some other things to give you. Come with me."
Luo Yunshi led them to the small courtyard of the lodging building and told him her plans.
"Uncle He, you know I have space ability. When I rescued the people of Qing'an County last time, I brought out almost everything that could be exchanged for points from the county. I plan to entrust all these items to you for handling."
Shangguan He was shocked and moved. Miss Luo was going to give away all the items from the entire county.
"Miss Luo, those items were all brought back by you yourself..."

Luo Yunshi, lying on her bed, looked at the ceiling and complained in her mind to the system, Little Seven.
