When Nan Gongjin received An Nuan’s call and heard no sound, he knew something was wrong. She must have been in danger.
Shen Xizhou directly hung up An Nuan’s phone and tossed it aside.
An Nuan, however, began to feel scared.
Her only connection to the outside world was gone.
What was she to do now?
She could only hope that Nan Gongjin would find her.
An hour later, Nan Gongjin finally appeared.
“An Nuan, are you alright?” Nan Gongjin asked with concern, his gaze sweeping over An Nuan. He finally relaxed when he confirmed she was unharmed.
Xia Wanqing, who had appeared at some point, pointed at An Nuan like a shrew and shouted accusations. “An Nuan, it’s you, it’s all because of you.”
“You’re a jinx,” Xia Wanqing yelled.
An Nuan looked at the person before her with confusion.
Facing Xia Wanqing’s accusations, An Nuan felt she had gone mad.
