A rare flicker of emotion crossed Thanatos's face, seemingly surprised that the black light orb he had created had silently dissipated.

“Hiding your head and showing your tail, come out!”

Thanatos stretched out a hand and with a grasping motion, forcibly pulled a curvaceous figure from inside of Qiao Yu's body.

The Mechanical Empress faced him as if facing a formidable enemy, staring intently at Thanatos.

Her expression was grave, as if deflecting Thanatos's black light orb had not been easy for her.

Qiao Yu’s heart sank. He rarely saw the Mechanical Empress take action, but each time, she had crushed her opponents.

Was this Thanatos so difficult that even the Mechanical Empress found him棘手 (jí shǒu – thorny, troublesome)?

“A half-biological, half-mechanical life form? Are you from the Third Universe's Mechanical Era?” Thanatos’s voice returned to its cold indifference.

“None of your business! Mechanical Golems!”

The Mechanical Empress raised both hands, and countless mechanical parts began to assemble automatically, quickly forming a thousand humanoid mechanical golems.

They looked somewhat like Terminator T800s, with fully mechanical exoskeletons and eyes glowing with red light, appearing quite terrifying.

Anyone surrounded by a thousand such terrifying beings would shiver in fear.

Qiao Yu's pupils also contracted. He vaguely felt that even if his injuries were fully recovered, it would be difficult for him to deal with one mechanical golem, let alone a thousand.

But Thanatos showed no reaction at all.

The energy spun faster and faster, directly forming a surging, terrifying black storm, pressing down on Thanatos like a heaven-obscuring black giant!

“Overestimating yourself!”

Thanatos didn't even bother to turn around, firing several black light orbs behind him.

The Death Storm conjured by the Mechanical Empress collided with the black light orbs, and the terrifying impact soared into the sky, creating a horrifying explosion.

The explosion kicked up clouds of dust, and a black light orb shot out from the dust, heading straight for the Mechanical Empress.

The Mechanical Empress reacted quickly, ducking to evade.

The black light orb exploded instantly, turning into countless streams of black energy that pressed down on the Mechanical Empress.

The Mechanical Empress clapped her hands together, and a giant mechanical shield rose up, blocking Thanatos's power. The enormous impact forced the Mechanical Empress to retreat again and again.

Before the Mechanical Empress could counterattack, Thanatos's attack came one after another, the violent power sending her flying out and smashing heavily into the ground, creating a large circular crater.

“Mechanical Golems!”

The Mechanical Empress repeated her trick, and countless mechanical warriors rose from the ground and attacked Thanatos.

“These are useless against me.” Thanatos raised a hand and squeezed, directly compressing the mechanical golems into a round iron ball.

However, the Mechanical Empress smiled.

*Boom!*

A terrifying explosion rang out, sparks flew everywhere, and the mechanical golems, after being condensed into a ball by Thanatos, actually exploded.

But when the smoke cleared, Thanatos was completely unharmed.

“The means of you Third Universe people are quite interesting, but how long can you last?”

Thanatos's tone was indifferent, and then he raised his hand again.

Five black light orbs, radiating violent power, attacked the Mechanical Empress, like five black meteors.

The violent power shook the entire ground.

But when the explosion ended, the Mechanical Empress in front of him had disappeared.

“Thanatos, you’ve been fooled! Piercing Ray!”

The Mechanical Empress appeared behind Thanatos eerily, and a terrifying red light was constantly collapsing in her chest, eventually collapsing into a strange red dot.

Then, a violent red beam of light shot out, enveloping Thanatos completely!

The terrifying power made Qiao Yu's Adam's apple bob up and down. He felt that as long as he was grazed by that ray, he could die on the spot.

Thanatos couldn't possibly be unharmed in the face of such power, could he?

The Mechanical Empress gasped for breath after releasing the Piercing Ray, obviously releasing this move had taken a toll on her as well.

“The power is not bad, but it is too foolish to attack a god.”

A cold, hollow voice sounded, causing both Qiao Yu and the Mechanical Empress's hearts to clench instantly.

The smoke slowly dissipated, and the Piercing Ray had blasted a long trench in the ground, but strangely, the ground beneath Thanatos's feet was unharmed!

The thick shadow that had originally enveloped Thanatos was dispersed by this attack, and Qiao Yu finally saw Thanatos's appearance clearly!

Thanatos wore black armor, with a pair of cold black wings on his back, and beneath his silver hair was a perfectly proportioned face. A pair of silver eyes revealed indifference to life.

He moved in an instant, so fast that even Qiao Yu's Ghost Eyes could not capture his movements, and he grabbed the Mechanical Empress's neck, lifting her up directly.

“This guy… is Thanatos… is he really a god…” Qiao Yu muttered to himself, biting his teeth unwillingly, a hint of despair flashing in his eyes.

Thanatos was too strong. Even if the Mechanical Empress used all her strength, she could not harm him at all. He did not even have a chance to use the Recognize the Thief as Father Card in front of him.

“God? Are you worthy?” The Mechanical Empress, her neck choked by Thanatos, raised a smile. “It would be more like your master to say these words. Thanatos, you are just a false god!”

A hint of emotion was evident in Thanatos’s silver eyes.

“You want to die? I will grant your wish. I will show you now, what true death is.”

“Death Annihilation.”

Terrifying power was brewing in Thanatos's hands, the power constantly overflowing, containing the aura of death that annihilated everything.

Thanatos acted without hesitation, and the dense aura of death enveloped the Mechanical Empress directly.

The Mechanical Empress let out a wail, her flesh constantly being corroded, revealing the silver-white mechanical circuits inside her body.
