Chapter 156 Drugging

Su Xi, led by Ouyang Chu Ge, began to stealthily approach the area where the prisoners were held.

The closer they got to the holding area, the more Su Xi could sense the tight security ahead, even without using her supercomputer. The guards were also incredibly powerful.

While they could have previously found ways around other areas, all exits were heavily guarded near the prisoner holding location.

Each of the guards had a cultivation base of at least the Foundation Establishment stage, with many Yuan Ying stage experts hidden amongst them.

Anyone with ulterior motives would be attacked by the mob.

Su Xi and Ouyang Chu Ge were only two people. If they were discovered, let alone rescuing anyone, they wouldn't even be able to escape.

"What do we do?"

Su Xi and Ouyang Chu Ge exchanged glances, sensing the difficulty from each other's eyes.

With so many people here, even if they waited to be executed, they wouldn't know how long it would take. Moreover, these people were not easy to deal with.

After some thought, a smile suddenly appeared on Su Xi's lips, and she took out a test tube from her person.

The red liquid in the test tube sloshed continuously, appearing alluring under the flickering lights.

"What is this?" Ouyang Chu Ge looked at Su Xi, his face filled with confusion.

He had always considered himself the smartest person in the demon race. It was only now, seeing Su Xi constantly produce strange and exotic items, that he realized how much he didn't know.

He was greatly suspicious of Su Xi's identity. After all, he had never heard of anyone in the demon race possessing so many peculiar things.

Su Xi heard Ouyang Chu Ge's question, a smile playing on her lips as she looked him up and down and asked, "Do you really want to know?"

"Yes." Although Ouyang Chu Ge knew Su Xi's smile held a hint of mischief, he still nodded.

He was truly curious about such unusual things.

Seeing Ouyang Chu Ge's reaction, Su Xi smiled and extended her hand to him.

"What are you doing?" Ouyang Chu Ge instinctively tried to dodge as Su Xi moved.

But Su Xi was fast, and he couldn't avoid it. She forcefully plucked a strand of hair from his head, the sharp pain almost making him cry out.

He hadn't expected Su Xi to do such a thing, and he was so angry he almost attacked her. No one had ever dared to treat him like this. Su Xi was playing with fire.

Su Xi ignored Ouyang Chu Ge's murderous glare and lowered her head, placing the hair into the test tube.

As the hair entered the test tube, the red liquid instantly began to boil like water, churning and bubbling. As the liquid surged, a large amount of mist was released, creating a visually striking scene.

Su Xi seemed to have anticipated this and remained calm, continuously shaking the test tube.

The reason she had asked for Ouyang Chu Ge's hair wasn't due to a peculiar fetish, but to extract DNA from his body.

The demon race had a unique physique, certainly possessing DNA different from humans. This specific DNA was the foundation for the method she was about to employ.

With this unique DNA, she could create a virus that specifically targeted demons. Then, using this retroviral method, she could infect the demon race.

This method was not only highly covert but also extremely contagious.

Once one person was infected, it would spread rapidly to the next. No matter how powerful the opponent, they would lose their combat ability once infected.

Then, she wouldn't need to lift a finger to resolve the enemies before her. Once the problem was solved, rescuing the prisoners would be easy.

Ouyang Chu Ge didn't know what Su Xi was thinking, only staring at the constantly shaking liquid in her hand, feeling perplexed.

In his opinion, they should be creating a diversion.

Lure them out, then pick them off one by one.

Was Su Xi wasting her time doing all this?

Just as he was about to ask Su Xi what she was doing, he suddenly saw Su Xi stop her movements, and a smile appeared on her face.

"Done," Su Xi said, looking at the liquid in her hand with an eager expression.

"What are you doing?" Ouyang Chu Ge looked at Su Xi's smile, unable to fathom her intentions.

What was so praiseworthy about a small vial?

Su Xi ignored Ouyang Chu Ge's question and pulled out a mask from her person, handing it to him. "Put this on first. You'll know what I'm going to do in a moment."

Once the virus was used, it wouldn't discriminate based on her intentions.

Any demon would be affected, so for Ouyang Chu Ge's safety, she had to ensure he took precautions.

Although Ouyang Chu Ge didn't understand Su Xi's meaning, he obediently put on the mask.

Better safe than sorry.

A piece of cloth wouldn't harm him in any way.

He didn't know what Su Xi was doing, as this woman always did strange things, and it was hard to avoid her doing something dangerous.

Seeing Ouyang Chu Ge had donned protection, Su Xi immediately pulled out the stopper of the test tube and poured the liquid onto the ground.

As the liquid hit the ground, it instantly turned into gas and spread outwards.

Since Su Xi was not of the demon race, she had no reason to worry about being infected by the virus.

She stood in place, watching the spreading virus with a smile on her face.

Once the virus infected these demons and rendered them powerless, she could resolve the situation effortlessly.

The virus quickly spread outwards, immediately transmitting between the demon guards.

"Achoo!"

One demon, infected, couldn't help but sneeze.

He didn't pay it any mind, simply wiping his nose with his hand and then wiping his snot on his side.

A minor cold was nothing to worry about at this point.

The demon race had strong bodies, so these issues were unimportant.

However, soon, a series of sneezes echoed throughout the demon encampment.

Many hadn't even managed to wipe their snot when they suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed to the ground. Then, red light began to emanate from their bodies.

After the first person's body began to glow red, others followed suit.

One after another, as the red light spread, a large group of people fell to the ground.

The commander of the soldiers watched this scene and immediately realized something was amiss.

"Alert!"

He knew someone had infiltrated and immediately initiated the best defense.

However, despite his excellent arrangements, the soldiers were already poisoned and couldn't even stand, let alone defend.

Who could it be?

His gaze swept forward, trying to find the mastermind behind this.
