Chapter 337 - 338: Cipher Pol-Aigis 0

Chapter 337: Chapter 338: Cipher Pol-Aigis 0

Becoming a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea grants a suspension of one’s bounty, and the World Government ceases to pursue any past crimes.

Furthermore, the bounties of their direct crew members are also suspended. However, affiliated pirate crews are not included; as long as they haven’t disbanded their pirate crew and officially joined the Warlord’s direct command, they will continue to be pursued for serious crimes and will be eliminated if caught by the Marines.

The benefit, however, is that for minor acts of plunder, as long as the incident doesn’t escalate too much or isn’t discovered, the Marines will often turn a blind eye. After all, there are certain illegal matters that a Seven Warlords member cannot directly handle, so their affiliated pirate crews will take care of them.

For instance, in the Dressrosa Arc, the Donquixote Pirates clashed with the Straw Hat Pirates. If Doflamingo hadn’t underestimated Luffy and Law’s group, he wouldn’t have fallen. Because the incident happened so suddenly, his other forces couldn’t be mobilized in time, coupled with Caesar’s capture.

Otherwise, Luffy and Law’s group probably wouldn’t have even been able to enter Dressrosa; they would have been eliminated on the open sea.

Although it’s stated that Doflamingo only had Bellamy’s pirate crew under his direct command, it’s clearly impossible. He must have had other forces. Otherwise, how do you think Doflamingo developed so extensively over the years, with businesses worldwide?

His power couldn’t possibly be so limited. He operated in both the legal and underworlds, with official backing and dark influence, and his power spanned the globe. If he had truly mobilized his full strength, the Straw Hat Pirates and Law’s crew would have undoubtedly been crushed.

"All of you, stand down!" Otto commanded, his ugly face grim, as he waved his hand.

Seeing the grim expressions of the three powerful figures, the numerous guards didn’t dare to utter a sound. They obediently split into two groups, retreating to opposite sides of the corridor, several tens of meters apart, effectively sealing it off.

"This is troublesome!" Fitch muttered, adjusting the mask on his face.

Beck remained silent, but his dark eyes revealed a heavy seriousness. Though their strange masks obscured their expressions, it was clear that neither of them looked good.

Three executive-level powerhouses had been dispatched, a force already difficult to contend with. And two even more powerful individuals hadn’t even made their move yet. If they did, Fitch and Beck would likely die here.

Their only way out was to defeat the three individuals in front of them and escape during the brief window before the two stronger ones arrived. As long as they escaped this underground base, they would have a good chance of survival.

Shing!

Enrod’s long blade hissed as it was drawn, its gleaming edge exuding a chilling aura. He spoke, "Should I cut off your hands, or your feet?!"

"I say, why don’t we sit down, have some tea, and chat? All this fighting is so boring, isn’t it?" Beck chirped, trying to defuse the tension.

"Smash them flat, graaaah..." Otto roared, his body swelling instantly. He transformed into a four-meter-tall Orc, covered in brown fur, with sharp fangs, claws, and a tail. A fierce, bestial presence radiated from him.

"Holy... so that’s where his ’Orc’ nickname comes from!" Fitch and Beck widened their eyes in surprise.

Then, Otto stomped his foot, his massive body lunging forward with a reek of blood. Facing the charging Otto, Fitch directly closed in, meeting the attack with a punch.

Thump!

Two Haki-infused fists, one large and one small, collided. The impact generated a surge of air that exploded outward, forming a white ring of pressure.

"Such immense power!!!" Fitch felt a tremendous force push him backward, his feet gouging two distinct trails in the floor, leaving behind shattered marble.

"Armament Haki: Shigan!" Beck flashed, instantly appearing before Otto, his blackened index finger striking directly into the other’s abdomen.

Clang!

A metallic clang echoed.

"Damn it!" Beck cursed. His index finger had struck a blackened, metallic-looking spot, and Otto hadn’t even budged.

Otto first looked at the blackened index finger embedded in his abdomen, then at Beck, who was significantly shorter than him, and scoffed, "That attack isn’t enough!"

Whoosh!

Thump!

Otto suddenly swung his hand, like the claw of a beast, directly slapping Beck on the head.

Boom!

Struck by the heavy blow, Beck flew sideways, crashing violently into the metal wall. The sturdy metal wall caved in from the impact, leaving a half-body-shaped dent.

Thump, thump, thump, thump...

At this moment, Fitch leaped high, running on air. He then swept his leg downwards, his leg muscles contracting rapidly to generate immense kinetic energy.

Swoosh!

A blue-white slash appeared, instantly forming a spear-shaped attack that flew downwards.

Rankyaku: Spear!!!

"Don’t forget about me!" A cold shout. Enrod rushed out from the side, his blade flashing like lightning, revealing sharp killing intent. A white light erupted, transforming into a razor-sharp white beam that shot skyward.

Clang!

In mid-air, two sharp attacks collided, like needle points against an awl, producing the sound of grinding iron. However, both slashes were annihilated simultaneously.

Bang!

A gunshot rang out. A fist-sized bloody hole suddenly appeared in Fitch’s shoulder. Drops of blood fell, and his body swayed, causing him to drop from the air.

"Quite the shot!" Half-kneeling on the ground, Fitch clutched his left shoulder, coldly staring at Galan, who held a gun, a wisp of smoke still curling from its muzzle.

"It’s decent enough to kill some sneaking bastards," Galan said, shifting his gun to aim at Fitch, a cold smirk playing on his lips.

Crack!

Several red and black fragments fell to the ground.

"Damn it, this is too much!" Beck’s voice deepened. He leaned against the metal wall, his mask shattered, revealing an ordinary-looking face. Streaks of blood ran down his head.

"Hmph. You won’t be leaving here today," Enrod said coldly, clutching his sword.

"I think using them as test subjects wouldn’t be bad either," Galan suggested.

"Kill them. That’ll be the end of it," Otto’s voice, like a beast’s roar, echoed through the corridor.

Beck’s expression changed. The enemy’s strength far exceeded their expectations. If they continued fighting, not only would their mission fail, but they would surely die.

On Fitch’s side, he hastily said, "Please stop! We are from Cipher Pol-Aigis 0 (CP0), the World Government’s direct intelligence agency! This is a misunderstanding!"

"Your captain is both a Seven Warlord of the Sea member and the king of a World Government affiliated country. We’re on the same side!" Beck urgently added.

Indeed, both of them were agents of the World Government’s highest secret intelligence agency, CP0, executing a secret mission directly ordered by the World Government.
