Chapter 36: Major Social Death Scene

Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Major Social Death Scene

Serena Yeats just wouldn’t let go.

Elias Lancaster’s heart beat faster, sweat dripped down his forehead, and his breathing became rapid, enduring agony every moment.

"Serena, let go first, or something will happen."

Serena looked up at him, her clear eyes questioning him. "Are you going to hit me?"

Then, her face turned red as she realized something, and when she looked at Elias again, her face was flushed as she finally understood what he meant.

She quickly lowered her head, stammering, "The...the doctor said...after three months...we can...just be gentle..."

Elias remembered that the books he read said the same, and the doctor indeed mentioned it during the prenatal check.

But he didn’t dare to take the risk; he was afraid, what if...

He would hate himself for the rest of his life!

"Serena, listen to me, you’re pregnant with twins, the risk is higher than a single pregnancy, for your health, it’s better to be careful."

Serena’s grip loosened, and she nodded slightly.

She understood he wasn’t rejecting her but considering her health.

Elias picked her up and placed her on the bed, speaking in a hoarse voice, "Get a good sleep, I have some things to handle."

Serena nodded repeatedly, "Then I’ll sleep."

Her voice was soft, she closed her eyes, and not hearing the man leave, she secretly opened one eye to take a peek, only to meet the man’s dark, deep eyes.

Frightened, she hurriedly closed her eyes, burying her head into the blanket.

Elias shook his head and laughed softly, pulling down the blanket a bit, afraid she’d suffocate, "Goodnight." After finishing, he left a kiss on her forehead and got up to go to the study.

It was only after the door closed again that Serena opened her eyes, sat up, and looked at the closed door.

The unique scent of the man still lingered in the air, and what happened just now felt like a dream.

What Elias said about spending the rest of their lives together seemed so unreal.

She lay back on the bed, staring at the ceiling and giggling foolishly.

When Elias got to the study, he took a cold shower to calm himself down.

Then, he looked at the materials Quentin Shaw sent over.

During this period, her adoptive parents had been restless, still planning to sell her.

Most importantly, her biological parents still hadn’t been identified.

Half an hour later, there was a knock on the study door, Elias exited the computer, eyes full of coldness, "Enter."

The person opening the door was Nanny Livingston, with someone behind her, "Young master, the people are here."

Elias gave a hum, looking at the people outside the door.

Nanny Livingston personally brought tea over, "Young master, I’ll head out now."

The newcomers were two men, one was Quentin Shaw, and the other was Xavier Fletcher, whose identity was very special and rarely appeared in public view.

They couldn’t be out in the open.

"Master Lancaster." The two sat down, greeting respectfully.

Henry Fletcher was carefree, but in front of Elias, he was absolutely serious.

He didn’t know what happened for Master Lancaster to personally have Quentin Shaw bring him over.

"Master Lancaster, did something happen?"

Quentin Shaw knew a bit, it was all because of the young madam’s affairs.

He asked, "President Lancaster, have you decided how to handle this?"

Elias’s expression was cold, fingers tapping the table rhythmically.

The sound sent chills down one’s spine, emitting a murderous aura.

Henry Fletcher heard Quentin Shaw ask this and looked at him, "What’s going on? And I’m the only one who doesn’t know?"

Quentin Shaw wore a serious face, "It’s about the young madam."

Henry Fletcher froze for a moment, then reacted, "I haven’t even met the young madam, Master Lancaster, when will you let the brothers meet her?"

On the way here, he learned that Master Lancaster had gotten married, he was so shocked his jaw dropped.

He was now very curious to meet this young madam, to see what kind of person made Master Lancaster a different man.

Elias glanced at him, "Talk about the main issue."

Henry Fletcher furrowed his brows, "Please instruct, Master Lancaster."

Quentin Shaw naturally explained the situation, "Everyone’s position is under control at the moment, please give instructions, President Lancaster."

Elias’s expression was cold, his tone even colder, "Take action."

Letting those people have one extra second of freedom was an injustice to Serena Yeats’s grievances.

Quentin Shaw immediately forwarded the addresses from his phone to Henry Fletcher, "Sorry to trouble you, bring them all back."

Henry Fletcher glanced at it, there were four addresses in total, he sent them all to his subordinates.

After putting away his phone, "What exactly happened, that I’m sent to catch people."

He looked completely bewildered.

Master Lancaster not explaining was one thing, but Quentin Shaw not saying anything either.

Quentin Shaw glanced at Elias, "These people have all bullied the young madam."

"What?" Henry Fletcher was taken aback for a moment.

After realizing, he picked up his phone to instruct his subordinates to speed up, additionally checking if anyone else had bullied the young madam and to bring them along.

Daring to bully Master Lancaster’s young madam, they clearly have a death wish.

After notifying, "Master Lancaster, how do you plan to deal with them?"

Elias said calmly, "Worse than death."

Those few words were more agonizing than dying.

Henry Fletcher chuckled, "Ensure Master Lancaster is satisfied."

"Also, check using the dark web for Serena’s biological parents." Elias furrowed his brows, "Keep it confidential, find two people to discreetly protect Serena."

With everything instructed, they immediately left to handle it overnight.

In the car.

"What did you say?" Henry Fletcher slammed the brakes, stopping the car. "Are you sure?"

Quentin Shaw gave him a look, "No nonsense."

The young madam was expecting Master Lancaster’s children, and two of them at that.

Master Lancaster is impressive, hitting two birds with one stone!

However, with the Lancaster Family having difficulty with heirs, yet encountering the young madam, two came along at once, this young madam must be a wonderful person.

During the following period, Serena Yeats had already immersed herself in competition preparation, focusing on drawing design sketches.

The competition would certainly emphasize assessment on design concepts and practical skills, she needed to strengthen her training.

She had to systematize her design concepts, and further delve into studying and learning from exceptional designs.

This competition was very important, she wanted to strive to be worthy of her uncle.

Nanny Livingston came upstairs to call her down for lunch.

She then realized it was already noon, put down her pen, and stretched her limbs.

"Young madam, is this what you drew? It’s so beautiful!"

Nanny Livingston looked at the design drafts, couldn’t help but praise.

Hearing this, Serena Yeats naturally felt happy.

She picked up the drafts, "This is a complete set of jewelry, the ring is a pair, if they are all pieced together, it forms the word ’love’."

Nanny Livingston laughed, "Young madam is truly amazing!"

After lunch, Serena Yeats wanted to return upstairs to continue studying, but Nanny Livingston stopped her.

"Young madam, you can’t sit all the time, you need to move around, or your feet will swell."

Nanny Livingston said, "Why don’t I accompany you for a walk?"

"Alright!" Serena looked outside, it was already winter, but thankfully, it wasn’t too cold.

Upon returning, she wondered how Nathan Sawyer’s design drafts fared, so she picked up her phone to chat with him.

[Nathan, what are you doing?]
