Time flies too fast for Victoria and Matthias. Next week is their wedding day. Everything related to the wedding reception is in full swing. Victoria still finds it hard to believe she will be walking down the aisle with her husband. Previously, they had always kept their relationship hidden from everyone because it was a threat to their relationship.
To celebrate their wedding, Matthias invited his wife to play the piano with him at their home. Over time, Victoria became more proficient at playing the piano without her husband’s help.
"Tory, I don’t think I need to teach you how to play the piano anymore."
Victoria accidentally pressed the wrong piano key and winked sweetly at her husband. "Oops! I pressed the wrong key. Looks like I’m still not that good."
Matthias laughed awkwardly, moving his lips closer to his wife’s. "Did you do that on purpose so I’d teach you again?"
Her cheeks immediately heated up. "Actually, I’m still not very good at playing the piano."
"Did you just lie? I already know you’re very skilled."
"Actually, I’m confident playing the piano with you by my side now." A shaky breath escaped her lips. "Okay, I’ll admit it. I actually didn’t like what you said earlier. I want you to stay by my side. I don’t like playing the piano alone."
His strong arms hugged his wife tightly. "Of course, I don’t want to leave you playing the piano alone. I still want to play with you."
"But, didn’t you just say that you didn’t want to teach me anymore?"
"I don’t want to teach you anymore because you’re already so good. But that doesn’t mean I’ll leave you to play the piano alone. I still want to play with you like I do now."
Her eyes sparkled as she stared at her husband’s handsome face, which shone even brighter in the night. Her head rested on his broad shoulder. "I still can’t believe we’re actually getting married soon. I’ve always wanted to wear a wedding dress and walk down the aisle with you."
"Me too. This is what I’ve been waiting for all these years."

Hearing the doorbell ring, they were forced to interrupt their sweet moment. Matthias briefly welcomed the arrival of their special guests who had unexpectedly visited them in the night. The two guests were Ansel and Laura.
Ansel and Laura brought several paper bags and then placed them on the living room table.
"Sorry, we disturbed your moment now," said Laura, looking down.
Victoria shook her head quickly. "It’s okay. In fact, we’re happy you’re visiting us now."
Ansel patted his friend’s shoulder enthusiastically. "Actually, my reason for visiting you guys was to check on my ex-fiancé."
Matthias furrowed his brows and crossed his arms. "Why do you care more about my wife than your girlfriend?"
"Because I proposed to her once and promised her that I would protect her for the rest of her life. Now it’s my job to make sure you can make her happy."
Laura shook her head, embracing her best friend’s hand. "If Matthias hurts Victoria’s feelings, I’ll definitely drag you to my home."
"Not to our house?" Ansel asked back with a beaming smile that left Matthias and Victoria in awe.
"Wow, Ansel! I didn’t expect your attitude to be so similar to mine!" Matthias clapped his hands enthusiastically.
Meanwhile, Laura smiled shyly as she leaned close to her friend’s ear. "Victoria, has Ansel always been like this?"
Victoria smiled broadly and patted her friend’s shoulder. "That’s why I really support your relationship. Because Ansel is trustworthy, and you truly love each other. It’s just a matter of time before you’re ready to get married."
"But, if Matthias really gets on your nerves again, you can stay at my house. I’ll be your bed mate."
Matthias glared at his friend. "Why are you talking bad about me when we’re getting married next week? Shouldn’t you be praying for everything to go smoothly?"
"Because sometimes you can’t be trusted! I read your articles back then and they actually made me want to get angry."
Victoria shook her head. "Don’t worry. I don’t want our relationship to be like that again. Matthias and I promised not to do it again."

The couple, unwilling to disrupt the intimate moment of the newlyweds, who were due to hold their wedding the next week, immediately left the luxurious residence and resumed their conversation in the penthouse.
Laura actually still wanted to ask Ansel whether he really wanted to marry her anytime soon, because he accidentally let it slip that they were already married. Ever since hearing those words, her heart had been pounding so hard that she couldn’t let go of his hand.
"Laura, how long are you going to hold my hand?"
Laura swung her lover’s hand excitedly. "I won’t let go until you tell me to."
A happy smile adorned his handsome face. He enthusiastically shook his lover’s hand. "Then, I don’t want to let go of your hand either."
"If it continues like this, how can I sleep?"
"I can sleep with you."
Ansel quickly clamped his mouth shut and patted his lips, which were starting to get naughty. He was worried that his girlfriend would be uncomfortable with his constant slips of the tongue today. It was because he already loved Laura deeply.
Meanwhile, Laura just smiled awkwardly at her lover’s joke. She actually didn’t mind sleeping with him as long as they didn’t do anything else all night. However, for some reason, her mind was already filled with thoughts of what they might do all night.
"I mean, I can sleep with you. Just like Matthias always sleeps with Victoria." Ansel quickly corrected himself before any misunderstanding arose.
"I know you really want to sleep with me." Laura stretched her arms for a moment. "I’m really tired today. I want you to sleep with me today."
Ansel was still embarrassed to face his girlfriend, having already given two strong hints about their future. However, he was actually curious about whether Laura actually wanted to get married, as she kept changing the subject.
