"There are all sorts of people in this world."
"It's because she's related to Teacher Chen. It really makes a difference when you have connections."
Outside the classroom, Mu Anxiao clearly heard the dissatisfied voices coming from inside. She yawned and turned to the wolf demon, asking, "What exactly do you want?"
"I'm going to school in Hu Yuan's place, is that a problem?" the wolf demon replied flippantly.
"Zhang Yan already explained it all to me," Mu Anxiao said calmly.
The wolf demon mumbled, "His mouth really is long."
"It's not that his mouth is long, it's that you've gone too far," Mu Anxiao stated directly.
The wolf demon glanced at other students from different classes passing by and asked, "No, how have I gone too far?"
"Harming people," Mu Anxiao replied simply.
"Harming people," the wolf demon repeated, sneering, "Where did you see me harming anyone?"
"Even if you haven't acted yet, I believe you will soon," Mu Anxiao said.
"Never mind that, didn't you say you weren't here to see me?" the wolf demon recalled what Mu Anxiao had said before class.
Mu Anxiao replied, "I originally intended to act in secret, but since you've come to find me uninvited, I naturally don't need to hide anymore."
"You'd better not interfere."
"Do you really think he can give you his body?" Mu Anxiao asked.
The wolf demon snorted, "Zhang Yan told you this too."
"No, I think if this human hadn't given you any benefits, you wouldn't be so obediently helping him," Mu Anxiao said softly.
"As expected, you've gotten smarter," the wolf demon said, patting Mu Anxiao's shoulder.
Mu Anxiao looked down at her shoulder, which had been touched by the wolf demon, and said, "I've always been smart; I just didn't show it before."
Hearing this, the wolf demon chuckled, "You're really becoming less and less humble lately."
"I've never been one to be modest. You'd better not harm humans, otherwise," Mu Anxiao narrowed her eyes, "I won't be polite to you."
"Is your head alright now?" the wolf demon asked, intentionally changing the subject and pointing to Mu Anxiao's head.
Mu Anxiao raised her hand and touched the bandage on her head, saying, "This has nothing to do with you. Remember what I said, I'll be keeping an eye on you." With that, she pushed past the wolf demon and walked into the classroom.
The wolf demon watched Mu Anxiao's retreating back and clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"What's wrong?" Hu Yuan asked.
The wolf demon looked down at his chest and said, "You should know this person, right?"
"I don't pay attention to anyone who has nothing to do with me. Who is she?" Hu Yuan asked, looking up at the darkness.
"She's someone who's going to disrupt things for you and me," the wolf demon explained.
"You should have a way to deal with her," Hu Yuan said.
The wolf demon sighed lightly, "I have a way, but could you first tell me who bullied you?"
"He didn't come," Hu Yuan lowered his gaze.
"Didn't come?" The wolf demon frowned. "What do you mean?"
"A girl. She'll be here. I'll remind you," Hu Yuan said calmly.
The wolf demon's mouth twitched. "So, the one who bullied you was just one girl? I thought it was all your classmates. If that's the case, you're making too much of a fuss."
"There are also students in this class, but that girl is the ringleader," Hu Yuan added.
"Then, should I start after that girl you mentioned arrives, or should I start now?"
Hu Yuan hesitated after hearing the wolf demon's question and said, "Now."
"Alright," the wolf demon replied as if he had found something amusing. He turned and walked into the classroom.
At this moment, Mu Anxiao was being scrutinized.
"Why is your head wrapped in a bandage?" the first girl asked, pointing at Mu Anxiao's head.
Mu Anxiao looked up at the girls who were speaking to her without reason and said, "I like it."
"Did you get injured in a fight?" the second girl asked.
Mu Anxiao hadn't expected so many people here to be so nosy, especially seeing the girls gossiping about her. She helplessly lowered her head.
"Why aren't you talking anymore?" the third girl asked in a saccharine tone.
Mu Anxiao sighed and fiddled with her fingers.
"Why did you choose our class? Do you know you're already affecting our studies?" the second girl said coldly.
Mu Anxiao exhaled and looked up at the second girl who spoke. "I haven't spoken to you, so tell me, how am I affecting you?"
"You snore in your sleep during class," the third girl got straight to the point.
Mu Anxiao paused and said, "Oh, sorry, I won't sleep then."
"That's too simply put," the third girl said provocatively.
Mu Anxiao touched the back of her head and said, "They say you high school students are very busy, so busy that you don't have time to talk during the day and only focus on studying. Now it seems," she stared into the third girl's eyes, "that's not the case."
"Every place is different. What we want now is for you," the third girl pointed at Mu Anxiao's forehead from a distance, "to leave here."
Mu Anxiao casually pushed away the third girl's hand and said, "I'll be leaving in three days. Now, I'll ask you to leave." She glanced at the trash can behind her seat. "Of course, if you don't mind the smell here, then stay." With that, she lowered her head.
The third girl snorted and was about to speak when the class bell rang.
The girls left reluctantly.
Mu Anxiao looked up at their retreating backs and thought, Strange, how did I offend them? After thinking, she glanced at the wolf demon who was smiling at her.
The wolf demon raised his eyebrows at Mu Anxiao and said telepathically, These girls in this class, like their head teacher, are not easy to deal with. I suggest you leave.
"Is that so? Then let me ask you," Mu Anxiao glanced at the classmate next to her and continued, "Are all the students in this class not good at studying?"
"No. As far as I know, the girls who just caused trouble for you have connections with the hoodlums outside. You'd better not offend them; it won't do you any good later on," the wolf demon said, intending to scare her.
Mu Anxiao was not worried about this. She retracted her gaze, which had been fixed on the wolf demon, and turned to the classmate next to her, narrowing her eyes.
The classmate next to her looked ahead and whispered, "They're jealous of you."
Mu Anxiao blinked, showing confusion.
Seeing Mu Anxiao's confused look, and fearing being called out by the teacher, the classmate next to her tore off a piece of her homework paper, quickly wrote a line, crumpled it into a ball, and tossed it onto Mu Anxiao's desk. Then, she looked back at the podium, pretending nothing had happened.
Mu Anxiao looked left and right, then unfolded the crumpled paper and thought telepathically: They're jealous that you have freedom in class and no teacher watching over you. Don't pay any attention to them.
