Feng Qishi smiled helplessly, stepping to Mu Anxiao's side. He extended and then retracted his hand, saying, "You really like to meddle in other people's affairs."
"Since you don't want to wear shoes, I'll grant your wish," Mu Anxiao said. With a wave of her hand towards the shoes, they instantly flew out the window.
Feng Qishi's gaze followed the shoes as they vanished out the window. He clenched his fists, "You've gone too far."
Mu Anxiao looked up calmly at Feng Qishi's angry expression and said, "Take care of yourself." As she was about to leave, Feng Qishi reached out and grabbed her arm, "Go get my shoes back for me."
Mu Anxiao looked at Feng Qishi's hand on her arm in confusion, thinking: Strange, how can he grab me? As she thought this, she blinked and suddenly remembered the effects of that immortal pill, sighing.
"Hurry up and get my shoes back."
Mu Anxiao helplessly shook off the arm Feng Qishi was holding, saying, "Got it."
Feng Qishi was surprised by Mu Anxiao's obedience and asked, "What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing's wrong with me, I can get your shoes back, but the condition is you have to promise not to follow me anymore."
"Deal," Feng Qishi agreed perfunctorily.
Mu Anxiao didn't pay attention to Feng Qishi's dismissive attitude and turned, flying directly out the window.
Feng Qishi walked to the window and watched Mu Anxiao land with ease, a smile tugging at his lips, "Amazing, if I had her abilities, I could go anywhere."
Mu Anxiao stood downstairs, looking left and right. As she bent down to pick up her shoes, she thought: No, if I pick them up, the shoes will appear to be floating in mid-air. If someone sees it, wouldn't that be troublesome? Thinking this, she hesitated to reach out.
Feng Qishi poked his head out, looking at Mu Anxiao hesitating downstairs, and frowned.
Mu Anxiao stood still, still pondering this when the security guard from yesterday walked over.
"Hey, whose shoes are these?" he said, bending down to pick up the shoes. He looked up and saw Feng Qishi leaning out the infirmary window, and paused, pointing at him.
Feng Qishi looked helplessly at the shoes in the security guard's hand and nodded.
Seeing Feng Qishi nod, the security guard assumed the shoes belonged to him. He pointed at Feng Qishi again, as if to say, "I'll bring them up to you."
Feng Qishi understood the security guard's meaning and nodded again, then withdrew his head.
Mu Anxiao breathed a sigh of relief and followed the security guard back to the infirmary.
"Why did you throw your shoes out?" the security guard asked as he entered the infirmary.
Feng Qishi took the shoes, casually threw them on the ground, and said while putting them on, "A bug just ran into my shoe. I was trying to shake it out, but I used too much force and threw them out the window."
"Fortunately, no one was below. If you had hit someone, that would have been serious," the security guard said sternly. "Don't do this again in the future. This is considered littering from a height."
"I know," Feng Qishi glanced at Mu Anxiao, admitting defeat.
"Rest well," the security guard said, turning and leaving after passing by Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao stared at Feng Qishi's wronged expression, saying, "Don't follow me."
Feng Qishi, having put on his shoes, glared at Mu Anxiao and frowned. He stepped forward and once again grabbed Mu Anxiao's arm, "You got me scolded by the security guard, so you're not leaving."
"I already helped you get your shoes back, what else do you want?" Mu Anxiao said impatiently.
"Not you, it was the security guard," Feng Qishi said, his eyes wide.
