Chapter 595 Two Bowls of Wontons

"When can I earn money?" Hong Yan asked foolishly.

"You, as long as you help me find a suitable immortal destined girl, I'll give it to you," the man in green said, pulling Hong Yan along.

"Really?" Hong Yan feigned excitement.

The man in green smiled and said, "Let's go watch the acrobatics."

"Okay," Hong Yan nodded happily, then ran after the man in green.

At this time, Mu An Xiao and the other two sat down at a wonton stall.

"Boss, three bowls of wontons," Feng Qi Shi called out.

At the stove, the boss responded, "Coming right up."

Mu An Xiao glanced at Feng Qi Shi, turned to look at Hun Ling who had taken a seat beside her, and asked, "Do you want to eat?"

"I don't, I'll just watch you eat," Hun Ling smiled at Mu An Xiao.

Mu An Xiao looked at Hun Ling's terrifying appearance and blinked, saying, "Um, can you not look at me from such close proximity? It's quite frightening."

"Okay," Hun Ling agreed and turned her head straight.

Feng Qi Shi looked at Hun Ling opposite him and said, "I thought you had left, I didn't expect you to follow."

"I was invisible just now," Hun Ling said calmly.

"Oh, I was wondering why I didn't see you," Feng Qi Shi said with a smile.

Shi Yi looked displeased at Hun Ling sitting beside Mu An Xiao and said, "Can we switch seats? She finds you disgusting, and you being like this will make her uncomfortable."

"If I were in your position, she would be even more uncomfortable," Hun Ling said with self-awareness.

Shi Yi was speechless.

Mu An Xiao glanced at Shi Yi and asked, "So many girls passed by you just now, did you like any of them?"

"My eyes are only for you," Shi Yi said, rather disgustingly.

Mu An Xiao pouted.

Feng Qi Shi reached out and firmly patted Shi Yi's shoulder, saying, "Brother, I advise you, it's best to give up."

"I won't," Shi Yi declared firmly.

Feng Qi Shi's mouth twitched. He withdrew his hand and said, "Fine, then brother..." he glanced at Mu An Xiao, "will continue to watch you hit a wall, as long as it doesn't hurt you."

"It doesn't hurt," Shi Yi smiled and shook his head.

Mu An Xiao looked at Shi Yi's expression opposite her and sighed helplessly, "I don't know why, but when you look at me like this, I always feel an impulse."

"What impulse?" Shi Yi smiled.

Mu An Xiao's eyes flickered and she said, "An impulse to poke your eyes out."

"My eyes may be blind," Shi Yi said, placing a hand over his heart, "but my heart is not."

"Uh..." Mu An Xiao was speechless.

Hun Ling looked at Shi Yi's exaggerated expression and laughed, "I know someone who is just like you."

"Oh really?" Shi Yi tossed his hair.

"Yes, he ended up breaking the hearts of the girls," Hun Ling said, nudging Mu An Xiao with her elbow. "Mu An Xiao, you must not trust his sweet talk. Men like this are the worst."

"You can't be so absolute, everyone is different," Shi Yi said agitatedly.

Hun Ling ignored Shi Yi and lowered her head.

Mu An Xiao said, "I know."

"Huh?" Shi Yi was startled by Mu An Xiao's response and asked, "Know what?"

"I know you're not a good person," Mu An Xiao pointed at Shi Yi.

Of course, Mu An Xiao knew that speaking like this would deeply hurt Shi Yi's feelings, but considering reality and her own heart, she had to do it, because a long pain is worse than a short one.

"You're speaking too hurtfully," Shi Yi said, standing up and leaving.

Mu An Xiao watched Shi Yi's retreating back and said, "Finally gone."

"I thought I was venomous with my words, but I didn't expect you to be more venomous than me," Hun Ling said, looking at Shi Yi's departing figure.

"I think I'm fine," Mu An Xiao said, looking at Feng Qi Shi. "Later, I'll eat two bowls, and you eat one."

"If you speak to him like that, what if he becomes demonized?" Feng Qi Shi asked with concern.

Mu An Xiao wrinkled her nose and said, "He won't."

"Alright," Feng Qi Shi nodded and turned to the boss who was walking over with a tray. "We're ready."

"Yes, ready," the boss responded, stepping forward and placing the tray on the table.

Mu An Xiao reached for a bowl of wontons and placed it in front of her, saying, "It's been a long time since I ate these."

"Then eat more," the boss said with a smile, picking up the extra bowl of wontons and placing it next to Mu An Xiao's bowl.

Mu An Xiao said, "Thank you."

The boss smiled and walked away with the tray.

Feng Qi Shi looked at the two bowls of wontons in front of Mu An Xiao and said, "Can you finish them? Or maybe we should wait for him, perhaps he'll be back soon."

"If I were him," Hun Ling said, glancing at Mu An Xiao, "I wouldn't come back."

"Me neither," Feng Qi Shi nodded and stirred the wontons in his bowl with a spoon.

Mu An Xiao didn't feel like she had done anything wrong. She picked up her spoon and began to eat.

Feng Qi Shi scooped up a wonton, brought it to his lips, and blew on it. "Actually, that guy Shi Yi, apart from being a bit over the top with you, is a pretty decent rat spirit." He then popped the wonton into his mouth.

Hearing this, Mu An Xiao paused, looked up, and asked, "Are you saying I was wrong?"

"No, I just feel... he's not a bad demon, you..."

"You still think I'm wrong," Mu An Xiao said, putting down her spoon. "I've also thought about letting him be overly dramatic, but for some reason, whenever he says those things to me, I just get angry. If you all think it's my fault, then there's nothing I can do." She then continued eating her wontons.

"What you're saying does make sense," Hun Ling said.

Feng Qi Shi looked at Mu An Xiao and sighed, "Alright, I won't talk about you anymore. Let's think about that guy, he won't do anything rash."

"I think so too," Hun Ling agreed.

Not far away, Shi Yi watched Mu An Xiao calmly eating her wontons, and thought about her words, muttering, "It's me who isn't good enough for her." He then pursed his lips.

"It's not that you're not good enough for her, it's that she's not good enough for you. She's just a weakling."

Hearing this, Shi Yi frowned and turned to look at the chain floating in front of him, asking, "Are you a vine spirit?"

"You know me?" the vine spirit asked with a smile.

Shi Yi's eyes flickered and he said, "I saw what you did to Mu An Xiao last time."

"Oh really?" the vine spirit's voice held a smile.

"Why are you looking for me?" Shi Yi asked unnaturally.

"I think you're too pathetic, being so coldly dismissed by Mu An Xiao."

"She didn't dismiss me, it was all my one-sided wishful thinking, it's not her fault," Shi Yi stated firmly.

"One-sided wishful thinking, do you really like her?" the vine spirit asked.

Shi Yi looked at the chain before him and retorted, "What do you know?"
