Chapter 511 The Unwillingness to Part

A wry smile bloomed as the wind began to stir, and he waved his hand, making the nails vanish.

"Do you know why I don't sit?" he asked.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi. You're just afraid someone will sit on you.

"Smart," Feng Qishi smiled.

You're a ghost and still care about your image. How boring. Mu Anxiao thought.

"As long as I'm conscious, I'll pay attention to my image," Feng Qishi raised an eyebrow.

Mu Anxiao pouted, then looked at the small car parked next to the bus outside the window and said, "That car is parked so crookedly."

Feng Qishi followed Mu Anxiao's gaze to the person in the small car and smiled, "Isn't that Liu Xian?"

"Liu Xian..." Mu Anxiao said, looking at the driver's seat. "It's really him."

At the same time, Liu Xian happened to turn his head towards Mu Anxiao. Then, just as he was about to wave hello, the sound of a car horn blared into everyone's ears.

Mu Anxiao covered his ears and glanced at the row of cars behind Liu Xian, waving his hand.

Liu Xian smiled awkwardly and started the car.

In Liu Xian's car, the woman said, "Can you concentrate on driving?"

"Yes," Liu Xian replied as he turned the corner.

On the bus, Feng Qishi smiled and said, "I know how to ride a horse."

Mu Anxiao frowned and turned to look at Feng Qishi, saying nothing.

Feng Qishi understood Mu Anxiao's meaning and said, "This way, I can teach you when I get back."

Mu Anxiao faked a smile. I know how to drive a carriage.

Feng Qishi was speechless.

Mu Anxiao snorted and took out his phone to call Uncle Chen.

After a few beeps, Uncle Chen, who had just arrived at the office, answered the phone. "Hello, are you here?"

"Almost there. I'll wait for you at the school entrance. Should I come in and find you?" Mu Anxiao asked.

Uncle Chen said, "Come to my office. Just tell the security guard you're looking for me."

"You've instructed them, right?" Mu Anxiao asked.

"Yes, I've instructed them. Don't worry," Uncle Chen said.

"Okay, I understand," Mu Anxiao replied and hung up.

In the office, the other teachers looked at Uncle Chen's haggard appearance and dared not speak.

On the bus, Feng Qishi looked at Mu Anxiao's profile and said, "Uncle Chen sounds so weak."

Definitely, anyone would find it unbearable if something like this happened to them. Mu Anxiao thought.

"Can you say a few words for me to Uncle Chen?" Feng Qishi said in a low voice.

What words?

"Say whatever you think is right, just say it's from me. You've done this sort of thing before anyway," Feng Qishi said.

Mu Anxiao nodded slightly and fell silent.

Feng Qishi also stopped talking.

In the blink of an eye, Feng Qishi got off the bus with Mu Anxiao. Then Mu Anxiao arrived at the school entrance and said, "I'm looking for Teacher Chen."

"Go ahead," the security guard said, opening the school gate a little wider than before.

Mu Anxiao walked in and said, "Thank you" to the security guard. Then he strode towards the teaching building.

Feng Qishi walked along, looking at everything familiar here, and said, "I always wondered what it would feel like to come back after graduating from here. Now, I've experienced it."

"What feeling?" Mu Anxiao asked.

Feng Qishi said, "A feeling that's hard to describe. Nostalgia, but not quite. In short, it's just hard to say."

"If you hadn't died, you would surely be preparing for exams with your classmates today," Mu Anxiao said softly.

"It was my choice, but," Feng Qishi turned his head to look at Mu Anxiao and smiled, "you really put in the effort."

"What do you mean?" Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi and lowered his head.

Feng Qishi smiled, "Because you knew this was the most comfortable place I ever stayed when I was alive, naturally... it's what I missed the most. So, before I left, you thought of bringing me to see it, right?"

"I'm just here to find Uncle Chen. Don't be so narcissistic," Mu Anxiao said.

"Your mouth is as stubborn as a duck's bill," Feng Qishi chuckled.

Mu Anxiao pursed his lips and said, "You also miss Uncle Chen the most."

Feng Qishi nodded, "Yes, I do miss him quite a bit. But people have to grow. My departure might allow Uncle Chen to grow."

"You talk so narcissistically," Mu Anxiao said, remembering his desk mate. "By the way, that girl isn't like you said."

"Who?" Feng Qishi asked.

Mu Anxiao glanced at Feng Qishi and said, "Your classmate, the girl. The one who cried her eyes out at your funeral yesterday."

"I thought she'd talk nonsense, but who knew," Feng Qishi shrugged. "I guessed wrong."

"Do you want to see her?" Mu Anxiao asked.

Feng Qishi shook his head. "No, we're not that close."

"That girl likes you," Mu Anxiao suddenly said.

Feng Qishi's face darkened. "Hearing you say that, it makes me feel," he tapped his ear, "uncomfortable."

"To be liked by someone proves you're a good person. You should be happy, not refuse," Mu Anxiao said.

Feng Qishi smiled faintly. "If that's the case, then you're happy to be liked by Feng Sen."

"It's different," Mu Anxiao glared at Feng Qishi.

"How is it different?" Feng Qishi asked deliberately.

Mu Anxiao thought for a moment and said, "Feng Sen's liking for me is purely... conspiratorial. But that girl's liking for you is purely innocent. So, it's different."

"Alright, alright, if you say it's different, then it's different," Feng Qishi said impatiently.

Mu Anxiao rolled his eyes at Feng Qishi and walked into the teaching building.

A few minutes later, Mu Anxiao arrived outside the office. The teachers who came out of the office saw Mu Anxiao and left without a word. Mu Anxiao also ignored them and walked into the office, where only Uncle Chen remained. "I'm here," he said.

When Uncle Chen heard Mu Anxiao arrive, he quickly stood up from his chair and said, "You're here."

"Mm," Mu Anxiao nodded and walked up to Uncle Chen, looking at his unshaven beard. "Since you're feeling so upset, why did you still come to work?"

Uncle Chen pursed his lips, walked around Mu Anxiao to the door, closed it, and then turned around, saying, "I never imagined that Qishi would commit suicide."

"Indeed, Feng Qishi had such a good personality. I also couldn't imagine he would..." Mu Anxiao didn't want to say the word 'suicide,' and turned to Uncle Chen, lowering his head.

"You must be very sad too. I can see it," Uncle Chen said.

Mu Anxiao nodded and said, "Feng Qishi told me many things before he died."

"What did he say?" Uncle Chen asked excitedly.

"He said you were the best to him, and he was very reluctant to leave you, but... there were some emotions he couldn't control, so, I'm sorry, Uncle Chen," Mu Anxiao said in a low voice.
