Chapter 434 Timely Appearance

Di Mingjue stood before the broken glass and commanded Lu Sisi, "Make him open the door!"

If the door were opened, everything would be ruined.

Facing Di Mingjue's threat, Lu Sisi hesitated.

"Open the door!" Di Mingjue roared.

Steeling herself, Lu Sisi approached the door, calculating the time until the drug's effects returned. She fumbled with the doorknob, saying, "It won't open. Uncle locked it, and I don't have the key."

"Tell him to open the door!"

With the commotion inside, Lu Sisi didn't know if Di Jianhan was still outside. Even if he were, she doubted he would open the door if she called out.

Anticipating this, Lu Sisi pretended to knock on the door, shouting outside, "Uncle, open the door."

Her voice was like a kitten's, barely audible even compared to the sound of shattering glass.

Seeing that her voice was ineffective, Di Mingjue strode forward, pulled her aside, and kicked the door.

With that kick, the entire wall trembled along with the door. Downstairs, Jiang Ziyu sensed trouble above and, disregarding Di Jianhan's obstruction, insisted on going up.

Arriving at the room, Jiang Ziyu found the door firmly locked. She couldn't open it from the outside either.

"Don't bother. Mingjue and Sisi have already consummated their union. You should leave the Di family as soon as possible to avoid embarrassment," Di Jianhan advised her kindly, following her up.

From inside, loud noises continued to emanate. She believed Di Mingjue was calling for help.

Thinking of something, Jiang Ziyu pressed, "Did you drug him?"

"Such an intelligent person, yet so unwilling to listen to advice?" Di Jianhan asked, seeing her still standing there.

Did she not care if Di Mingjue and Lu Sisi were together? Narrowing his eyes as he scrutinized her, Di Jianhan's tone turned icy, "I advise you to be sensible. If I don't acknowledge you, you will never have a peaceful life with Di Mingjue. Even without Lu Sisi, there will be Li Sisi, Zhao Sisi, and you'll eventually reach your breaking point."

"Mingjue will hate you," Jiang Ziyu said.

"Blood ties remain, like bone and sinew. His hatred will be fleeting," Di Jianhan said as he stepped forward to restrain Jiang Ziyu, preventing her from trying to open the door.

Lu Sisi, standing by the door, faintly heard the voices outside. Realizing Jiang Ziyu had returned, she rushed towards Di Mingjue in a panic.

Her body grew hot again. Di Mingjue pricked his palm with scissors. With the last shred of his consciousness, he ran to the door and gathered all his strength in his foot.

With one kick, the lock broke. He collapsed as the door swung open from the inside.

Jiang Ziyu saw the blood flowing from Di Mingjue's palm and then the shards of glass scattered on the floor behind him.

Even Di Jianhan was shocked by this scene.

What torment had he endured within to protect his body?

"Mingjue," Jiang Ziyu choked out, her voice filled with distress, as she helped him up.

The moment she touched him, she felt an immense heat.

"Go to the next room!" Di Mingjue, with his last bit of reason, uttered this sentence.

Before they even reached the room, he kissed Jiang Ziyu. Stumbling, he locked the guest room door and pushed Jiang Ziyu onto the bed.

Watching Di Mingjue transfer the drug's effects to Jiang Ziyu, Lu Sisi collapsed onto the floor in despair.

It was over, everything was finished!

Di Jianhan felt awkward looking at Lu Sisi in her undergarments. He averted his gaze and cleared his throat to remind her, "Sisi, put your clothes on first."

Lu Sisi moved like a zombie, put on her clothes, and walked out of the room. She looked towards the guest room and anxiously asked, "Uncle, will Brother Mingjue punish us when he wakes up?"

"I am his father, how dare he!" Di Jianhan retorted angrily.
