Chapter 264 No Looking at Phones

"Why are you back to live here?"

Entering the living room, the old lady called for the servants to prepare dishes that Qianqian loved for dinner. After arranging everything, she sat down and asked Jiang Ziyu.

Wasn't it her who asked?

Though she thought this, Jiang Ziyu turned her head and glared fiercely at Di Mingjue.

Liar!

Her eyes cursed him, but the one being cursed was unbothered, even a little pleased.

"Qianqian, is there anything happy happening recently that you want to tell Grandma?" Di Mingjue inquired.

Picking up the notebook that was always readily available at home, Qianqian wrote down some things from kindergarten for the old lady to see.

The old lady was amused and laughed heartily, her joy filling the entire house with laughter.

Seeing this scene, Di Mingjue also felt a strong sense of family atmosphere. Living this kind of life forever was not necessarily a bad thing.

He looked at Jiang Ziyu, but she was fiddling with her phone, not looking over at them at all.

Was she contacting Peter, or the man Peter mentioned?

Turning his wheelchair, he deliberately nudged his knee against Jiang Ziyu's knee.

Her arm went limp, and the phone slipped into the gap between her legs. She looked up at him, ignoring him.

Her leg was pushed to the side again, and Jiang Ziyu tilted her legs to the side, creating space for him to leave.

Di Mingjue didn't move forward. Instead, he retreated to his original position.

Seeing that he wasn't leaving, Jiang Ziyu moved her legs back to their original position. As soon as she picked up her phone, Di Mingjue's knee bumped against it again.

"Are you going out or not!" Jiang Ziyu's voice suddenly rose, startling even the old lady opposite them.

The old lady, with Qianqian, looked back and forth between the two, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I need to go to the restroom," Di Mingjue said.

Seeing that he was still preparing to leave, Jiang Ziyu stood up from her seat, changed direction, and sat down in a different spot.

Wherever she went, Di Mingjue's gaze followed. Unable to bear the intense gaze any longer, she stood up from the sofa, "I'll push you."

The two of them entered the bathroom together. Jiang Ziyu lifted the toilet seat for him and then turned away, no longer paying him any attention.

"Where are you going?" Di Mingjue grabbed Jiang Ziyu's hand, preventing her from leaving.

Seeing her wrist being pulled forcefully, Jiang Ziyu frowned, "Can't you do it yourself?"

He hadn't needed her help when going to the restroom before.

Di Mingjue forcefully pulled her closer, grabbing her hand and placing it on his waist.

As her fingers touched his belt, Jiang Ziyu flinched as if electrocuted and quickly yanked her hand away.

Her hands were dirty, and her eyes were even dirtier!

Jiang Ziyu turned on the faucet and washed her fingers in front of Di Mingjue, "I'll have them help you."

"I want *you* to help!" Di Mingjue stubbornly grabbed Jiang Ziyu's hand and forced it downwards.

Her body stiffened like a telegraph pole, and Jiang Ziyu resisted, shrinking back.

Seeing her eyes tightly shut, Di Mingjue's lips curved upwards, deliberately not giving her a chance to break free.

"Qianqian!" In her desperation, Jiang Ziyu looked up and cried out.

Hearing the urgency in her voice, the old lady's questioning voice drifted over, "What is it?"

"Grandma, it's nothing, she's afraid of hurting me," Di Mingjue said, raising his other hand to cover her mouth.

His large palm covered half of her face. Jiang Ziyu blinked her big, expressive eyes, looking so adorably clueless that Di Mingjue found himself lost in the sight.

Seizing an opportunity when his arm had some slack, she suddenly opened her mouth and bit down hard.

Warm liquid remained on his palm. Di Mingjue watched Jiang Ziyu flee, a foolish grin on his face. He reached out and locked the door, taking care of his bodily needs himself.

"Why is your face so red? Are you feeling unwell?" As soon as Jiang Ziyu came out, the old lady, who was about to check on her, asked.
