Chapter 219 Nosebleed

Returning home in a daze, Zhao Yanxia, like a walking corpse, stumbled into Jiang Ziyu, who was pushing her suitcase to leave.

Her knees hit with a crack, the sound making one wince, yet Zhao Yanxia showed no reaction.

Did it not hurt?

Jiang Ziyu glanced at the suitcase. Zhao Yanxia had collided with its hardest part, which was now slightly dented from the impact.

"Is your leg alright?" Jiang Ziyu asked.

Zhao Yanxia dejectedly walked upstairs.

It seemed Jiang Feifei had caused trouble again!

Jiang Ziyu, holding Qianqian's hand, continued to walk out.

With the holiday over, it was time for them to return to their original residence. Little Ran and Yu Ze had been video calling them every night, saying they missed them and wanted them back.

Most importantly, a great storm was brewing at the Di residence, and Jiang Ziyu did not want Qianqian to witness such events frequently.

Exiting the Di residence, Jiang Ziyu saw Di Mingjue's driver standing by her car.

"President Di sent me to take you back," the driver reported his task.

Due to Di Dongsheng's collaboration with the Wu Group, Di Mingjue had many documents to review recently. He demanded no oversight and did not want anyone to exploit loopholes and act against the company's interests.

Jiang Ziyu handed her suitcase to the driver and opened the car door to help Qianqian inside first.

Qianqian was very excited throughout the journey. She had not been able to play alone at the Di residence for the past two days. Although the old lady accompanied her, she did not engage in games with her.

The other two younger cousins at home had bullied her, and Qianqian did not wish to interact with them.

Half an hour later.

The car stopped by the roadside at the entrance of the residential complex. Jiang Feifei watched Little Ran and Yu Ze, who were with the butler inside.

"You can drop us off here. Take the car back, and I'll call you if I need anything," Jiang Ziyu said, unbuckling her seatbelt.

The driver initially wanted to wait until they were completely inside before leaving but was refused by Jiang Ziyu.

Instead, Jiang Ziyu watched him drive away before reassuringly leading Qianqian to reunite with Yu Ze and the others.

The three children embraced affectionately upon seeing each other.

"I missed you, Sis and Mom so much!" Little Ran openly expressed his love.

Yu Ze, standing beside them, was more shy. He merely held Jiang Ziyu's hand tightly, conveying his longing through his actions.

As they were bonding, Jiang Ziyu stood and observed Little Ran and Yu Ze.

Suddenly, she noticed a bloodstain on Yu Ze's collar.

"Are you bleeding?" Jiang Ziyu abruptly interrupted their conversation, pulling Yu Ze closer and questioning him.

Little Ran, who had been talking eloquently moments ago, put away his smile and stood there, looking at Yu Ze helplessly.

The two children dared not speak. Jiang Ziyu turned to the butler beside them and asked, "What exactly happened? What occurred at home these past two days?"

The butler wanted to explain immediately, but seeing them engrossed in conversation, she couldn't interject.

"Just now when we were coming downstairs, everything was fine, no bumps or falls, and I don't know why he got a nosebleed," the butler finished. Recalling Yu Ze's condition, she reassured, "Madam, please don't worry, it might be the dry weather. Children are more prone to heatiness than adults in such conditions."

She couldn't afford any uncertainty regarding Yu Ze and hurried back home with them.

She took out the measuring instruments and sterilized a silver needle while measuring. As she waited for the results, Jiang Ziyu's phone rang.

Glancing at the screen, she saw it was Mu Liangchen.

"Hello."

"You're back?"

Jiang Ziyu nodded. "Yes. Did something happen with the Wu Group's project?"

"Yes," Mu Liangchen said with a smile. "Do you know who is responsible?"

"Di Dongsheng? Or Di Mingjue?" Jiang Ziyu sat there, watching over Yu Ze.

The former she mentioned was unlikely, and the latter only had a fifty percent chance. His asking this way clearly indicated someone else was involved.
