Chapter 137 Take Action

Jiang Feifei left the company in low spirits. As she walked out of the company's doors, she saw Jiang Ziyu standing by the stone pillar.

The sunlight made her squint. Jiang Feifei composed herself and walked towards Jiang Ziyu with a smug expression, "Are you waiting for me?"

Jiang Ziyu turned her head and pointed to the coffee shop across the street, "Want a cup?"

"With you?" Jiang Feifei burst into laughter, "Are you serious? You're actually inviting me to enjoy the delicious coffee together?"

It seemed the conversation they just had had provoked her!

Jiang Ziyu's finger continued to point towards the coffee shop, implicitly asking again.

"Welcome, how many people?"

Upon entering the coffee shop, a woman in business attire immediately stepped forward to greet them.

Jiang Ziyu had no intention of observing the coffee shop's environment and replied, "Two."

Led by the waitress, the two arrived at a secluded and quiet booth.

"Americano?" Jiang Ziyu glanced at the menu and then looked up to ask.

The coffee was secondary; the conversation was the main event.

After returning the menu to the waitress, Jiang Ziyu's determined gaze fixed on Jiang Feifei opposite her, "I didn't expect you to set your sights on Di Jue Group after only a few weeks."

"That's not right. What do you mean 'set your sights'? Cooperation between businesses is only natural. Or is it that your hopes were dashed, and you're spewing these jealous words?" Jiang Feifei manipulated her expression, provocatively taunting her with a sarcastic tone.

The cooperation hadn't even materialized, yet her tail was already held high.

Jiang Ziyu took out her phone from her pocket and clicked on a pre-recorded voice message.

Di Mingjue's promised words slowly played out.

The voice message, lasting only a few seconds, froze Jiang Feifei's smile on her face.

She clenched her fists, gritted her teeth, and slammed her hands on the table, "Jiang Ziyu, are you crazy?"

Standing up from her seat in agitation, her suddenly raised shoulder brushed against the waitress carrying the coffee.

The plate was knocked askew, the coffee cups swayed, and the spilled liquid landed on the waitress's hand.

"Are you blind?!" Jiang Feifei yelled, swatting at her arm and looking at the reddened skin.

Her reprimand caused the waitress to drop the plate she was holding. The ceramic cup shattered on the floor, and shards of pottery flew onto Jiang Feifei's instep.

Her skin was instantly cut open, and blood flowed from the wound.

Ignoring the burn on her arm, Jiang Feifei looked down at the blood on her instep and, in retaliation, slapped the waitress across the face.

*Slap*

As the sound echoed, patrons nearby looked up at them.

Jiang Feifei, still enraged, attempted to slap her again, but her raised arm was caught by Jiang Ziyu.

"Let go!" Jiang Feifei struggled.

Jiang Ziyu looked at the waitress, her face swollen and tearful, standing silently. She tightened her grip, punishing Jiang Feifei by making her shrink her shoulders and helplessly comply with her actions.

"Apologize to her!" Jiang Ziyu commanded.

Upon hearing this, the waitress quickly waved her hands in refusal, "No, no, I'm the one who should apologize. It was my fault for not holding the plate steady and causing this lady to get injured."

Seeing the waitress was somewhat sensible, Jiang Feifei said smugly, "Did you hear that? Let go of me quickly."

Jiang Ziyu pressed her arm down again, repeating her command.

Afraid of losing her job, the waitress nervously tried to persuade, "Thank you for your kindness, but this matter is truly my mistake. I should be the one apologizing."

With that, the waitress bowed her head towards Jiang Feifei, "I'm sorry, please be magnanimous and forgive me."

Jiang Feifei, forced to bow her head, grimaced and shouted, "Don't think I don't know you're not helping her at all, but rather using this as an excuse to vent your inner dissatisfaction."

The more fiercely she yelled, the tighter Jiang Ziyu's grip became.

In the end, Jiang Feifei was in so much pain that she couldn't speak, only letting out involuntary whimpers of pain.
