The doorbell of the Ye residence was rung early in the morning, and the servants came out to check.
"Package delivery!" the postal worker said, pulling a package and a pen from his backpack.
The servant glanced at the recipient information and signed the signature line with the pen.
Tearing off the signed paper, the delivery man put on his helmet and left.
The servant walked towards the living room while looking at the contents of the package.
As he entered the living room, he met Di Mingjue. His gaze fell on the package, and he looked back towards the second floor.
Ye Yubin yawned, emerging from his room, feeling exhausted. He had been pestered by Huang Cheng all last night, who insisted on discussing cooperation.
He had returned late at night and was further affected by Ye Jiaxu's words, only falling asleep near dawn.
"Third Young Master, there's a letter for you."
As Ye Yubin came downstairs, the servant immediately stepped forward and handed him the package he had just retrieved.
"A letter?" Ye Yubin took it with suspicion.
He tore open the outer seal, and a piece of paper fell out. After a glance, Ye Yubin's expression changed drastically, and he immediately stuffed the paper back in.
Di Mingjue approached Ye Yubin. "Are you alright? You look a bit unwell."
Hearing Di Mingjue's voice, Ye Yubin instinctively clutched the package to his chest.
Following his flustered movements, Di Mingjue's gaze fell on the package he was holding.
"It's nothing," Ye Yubin replied perfunctorily, turning to head upstairs. He was unaware that Di Mingjue already knew exactly what was in the file and that he didn't need to hide it.
The game had just begun, and surprises would slowly unfold.
Clatter!
Ye Yubin kept walking forward, bumping straight into Ye Shaoting's arms.
"Be careful!" Ye Shaoting grabbed his arm.
With his mind filled with panic, Ye Yubin abruptly pushed away Ye Shaoting's touch. His evasive gaze and stuttered words followed, "Big... Big Brother, I'm going upstairs now."
He stepped to the left, and the package in his arms fell out.
Ye Shaoting bent down to pick it up, but before his fingers could touch it, Ye Yubin kicked it away.
"It's nothing," Ye Yubin said, jogging forward to pick it up himself. He tucked the package under his arm and walked forward without looking up.
He ran into Ye Ziyu, passing by like a gust of wind.
Ye Ziyu paused for a moment and then asked Ye Shaoting, "Big Brother, what about Third Brother?"
Ye Shaoting shook his head.
He was acting so strangely for someone so normal early in the morning.
After running back to his room, Ye Yubin nervously took the file out of the package again. He flipped through it page by page, his hands trembling with fright.
"How could this, how is this possible!"
The dialogue on the paper was exactly the same, and even if he tried to recall and recount it, he couldn't be as clear as what was written on this paper.
He set the paper aside and picked up the package to examine the information on it closely.
The sender's information was blank, and he couldn't obtain any information about the sender from the envelope.
After much thought, Ye Yubin tucked the item into his chest, his open jacket concealing the file.
Nervously, he went to Ye Jiaxu's door. Before he could raise his hand to knock, the door opened from the inside.
"You..."
As Ye Jiaxu began to speak, Ye Yubin pushed him back into the room, quickly closed the door, and locked it.
"Something's happened!"
"Happened?"
Ye Jiaxu looked bewildered.
Ye Yubin took the package from his chest and handed it to Ye Jiaxu.
Upon seeing the contents of the package, both of them reacted in the same way. Ye Jiaxu held the paper and looked at him in disbelief, "Where did you get this?"
"The servants brought it in this morning. I checked, and there was no sender information, so I could only tell what courier service they used," Ye Yubin said. xxs1
It seemed the sender did it deliberately!
They just didn't know if it was for money or for some other reason.
"Don't make any noise until we've investigated," Ye Jiaxu cautioned.
