On the way back, the car's speed was much faster than on the way there. Di Mingjue pursed his lips, staring fixedly at the road ahead without a word.
Gu Xiukai leaned against the car window and dozed off. After waking up, he looked expectantly at Di Mingjue.
Noticing his gaze from the corner of his eye, Di Mingjue had no intention of bothering with him and continued to drive carefully as if he hadn't seen him.
"President Di," Gu Xiukai began in a pleading tone, "I need to use the restroom again."
They hadn't completely left the outskirts yet. If he got out of the car now, he'd have to go into the woods in the middle of nowhere, just like last time.

"Hold it. We'll be out soon," Di Mingjue refused to stop.

"If you don't stop, I'm jumping out the window!" Gu Xiukai declared.
Jump out the window?
Di Mingjue didn't believe he would. Instead of stopping the car, he accelerated.
Seeing that he absolutely had no intention of stopping, Gu Xiukai actually reached out and opened the car window.
"I'm going to jump!"
"Go ahead, I won't stop you."
"Are you sure?"
"Uh-huh."
Di Mingjue maintained his speed, turning his head to look at Gu Xiukai, who was provoking him.
If he managed to jump out and ended up crippled, Di Mingjue vowed to spend money to hire someone to take good care of him.
The wind rushed in. Gu Xiukai got scared. If he jumped out at this speed, would he die or be crippled? The thought made him roll down the car window again.

After driving for a while longer, the car left the outskirts and entered the city. After a whole night of commotion, the sky was just beginning to lighten as they emerged.
The car stopped by the roadside. Di Mingjue commanded, "Get out!"
"Now?" Gu Xiukai looked at the empty roadside.
Although they were in the city center, it was still a long way to Gu's residence. There wasn't a single taxi on the road. Was he expected to walk back?
Gu Xiukai gripped his seatbelt. "No, you have to drive me back."
"Get out!" Di Mingjue demanded again.
Seeing that he was serious, Gu Xiukai looked at his expression. "Aren't you afraid that if you treat me like this, I won't help you recall things when I get back?"
"Are you really planning to help me, or are you deliberately wasting my time?" Di Mingjue questioned.
When he first saw the message, he thought Gu Xiukai might be useful, but after the trip to the outskirts, he realized Gu Xiukai wasn't that kind.
