After leaving the dock, on the way back, Ye Chenhan persuaded Di Mingjue to rest at the Ye residence. Di Mingjue's dark circles were terrifyingly thick from days of high-intensity searching for Ye Ziyu's whereabouts.
Without finding Ye Ziyu, nor any clues about her, Di Mingjue was unwilling to go back.
Ye Chenhan mentioned the children, and after weighing the pros and cons, he had no choice but to return to the Ye residence.
Ye Ziyu was no longer by his side. As the children's sole guardian, Di Mingjue could not afford to neglect them for a short period, causing unnecessary trouble.
It was already very late when they returned to the Ye residence. Except for the night lights in the courtyard, all other lights were turned off.
"Mingjue, you should rest early. We'll go to the hospital again tomorrow morning," Ye Chenhan said as he yawned with his hand covering his mouth, greeting Di Mingjue as he went upstairs.

"Mr. Di, it's Gu Xiukai. I've been thinking about what you asked me a few days ago. I thought of something tonight."
He scanned the message at a glance, and Di Mingjue excitedly stood up from the sofa, holding his phone as he walked out of the living room.

After a few seconds of silence on the other end, Gu Xiukai slowly began to explain, "You asked if I knew Gu Xiuyu's whereabouts. I've thought about where he might have taken Miss Ye. However, I'm not entirely sure yet. You'll need to send someone to check."
Uncertainty did not mean there was no hope. Upon hearing his explanation, Di Mingjue immediately walked out with his phone.
"Where are you now? I'll come to find you. We'll go check the place you mentioned together," Di Mingjue said, reaching out to open the car door.
The car left the entrance of the Ye residence. Apart from Gu Xiukai, no one else knew his whereabouts.
Half an hour later, Di Mingjue appeared at the entrance of the Gu residence.
Gu Xiuyu had been waiting early at the entrance of the Gu residence. The cold night wind was biting. He wrapped himself in a thick jacket, stamping his feet as he scanned the road leading to the Gu residence.
"Get in!" Di Mingjue poked his head out and urged as he rolled down the car window.
Pulling open the passenger door, Gu Xiukai bent down and got in. "You came quite quickly. I thought it would take you a while."
"The location," Di Mingjue demanded.
Except for matters concerning Ye Ziyu, he didn't want to answer any other questions.
Gu Xiukai nodded and said, "We have a villa in the suburbs, but we haven't been there for a long time. If he hasn't left Sijiucheng, he should be there."
The suburbs?
Di Mingjue stepped on the brake, suddenly stopping the car.
The place they left last was the dock, and the dock in Sijiucheng and the suburban location were in two different directions.
"Are you sure?" Di Mingjue expressed doubt.
Gu Xiukai scratched his head. "Not entirely sure. But have you found any clues after searching at the dock for days? If not, why not consider a different approach?"
What he said was not unreasonable. The sea area was vast, but after two or three days with no clues, they should indeed suspect that the phone found at the dock was a diversion.
