Anton was inside his father’s office, along with his father, Belue’s aunt, Romina, Norma’s parents, Bruce and Susan, the butler, Raymond, the head cook and head maid, Ms. Noria, and everyone’s secretary, Ronia.
He felt a little envious that Anna wasn’t required to attend the boring meeting.
“Yesterday, we touched the surface of the manor’s monthly expenses, and based on the budget that you’ve provided and the earnings that came from the flower shop, the funds that you’ve given to Mr. Jenkins, which were already transferred to Romina, would last for around 10 months. “Everyone, just use the funds in the treasure room. I put them there to make sure that the Rose Manor is a comfortable place where we can all stay and be happy,” Anton said to everyone.
All of the adults smiled at Anton’s declaration. He knew that his behavior of being a people pleaser was acting up again, but coins are just too easy to earn for him. Once the fruit orchards grew, which would probably take a very short time because of the mana water, another possible profitable business could be added to the manor’s portfolio.
They spent a couple more hours discussing the manor’s business, and Anton was getting tired of it. Anders probably noticed because after a while, his father told everyone that it was time for a break.
Once everyone left the office, aside from Anton and his father, he said something to his father.
“I don’t want to attend these types of meetings anymore, Father. Aunt Romina, Uncle Bruce, and Aunt Susan looked capable. Can you let them handle the manor and only talk to me about something important I can’t avoid? I’ll just make sure that the coffers in the treasure room will always be filled with gold coins and magic items.”
Anders sighed at his son.
“Fine, fine. I’ll do what you say. I would like to inform you that I will be hiring tutors for Luna and Alfred.”
“Don’t they have any magical capabilities? If they do, we can send them to magic academies.”
“Supreme Munetta gracefully tested them for us. Unfortunately, the two are not magically talented. I’ll just make sure that they’re educated enough that they can handle anything they want to do in the future, be it managing manors or businesses. Anders paused for a bit, thinking about things. After a while, he continued.
“We will settle everything we need to settle when it comes to the manor and the lives of everyone under us this month, while we’re resting at the same time. Once this month is over, we can then continue focusing on our growth. I will pool the funds in the treasure room together with the remaining funds that I have left and purchase all the things our family needs, like clothes and other personal things. By the way, I haven’t touched the two treasure chests that you’ve given me. The mithril armor and the golden things in the treasure chest are still with me. I’ll just put them in the treasure room.”

During that day, the only ones that was running around all over the manor were Anna, her classmates, Laloniah and her friends, and Luna and Alfred, who joined them. Elianah and Supreme Munetta stayed in one of the manor’s seating rooms that overlooked the garden, resting and talking about relaxing things while listening to the music from the recordings of Anton’s singing borrowed from Anna.
Anton stayed in his room and read his web novels or watched shows while casting mild mana rain towards the garden. He didn’t even care if there were people there since mana rain was beneficial to everyone.
