Chapter 564

Chapter 564

One crucial information that Raymond told Anton that pleases him somewhat was the rumor that the movies came from the magic academy where Anna was studying. The rumor said that it was an experiment that the supreme wizards' teachers were conducting and that they had chosen Rose Manor to conduct the tests.

According to the rumors, the wizards were able to open a window to another dimension and watch the lives of the people there for entertainment purposes. The wizards, prideful as they were, neither confirmed nor denied the rumors and just ignored them.

That meant that Anton’s family would not be bothered by those who were interested in learning more about the movies, especially when those who were interested were not wizards and just rich non-mages.

Anton thought of the fact that windows to other dimensions or realities were common skills practiced by powerful wizards, and the most powerful even had the capabilities of traversing to those dimensions.

He doubted it a little because if there were truly powerful wizards like that, why did they allow the Undead Coalition to run rampant in the Rendindura Continent? Was it just because their interests were not affected?

That day, Anton’s family conducted the memorial for the families and friends that was lost at sea. The people who attended were just those who had families on the ship. A large tablet with the names of those who had died was erected in one corner of the garden.

At least, they now had a place to visit whenever they wanted a specific place to remember them by, and that place was surrounded by beautiful flowers.

After the memorial, Anders announced that he didn’t want anyone to wallow in sadness, so he told Luna and Alfred that they would need to attend the lecture with their tutors, and Anna would be doing the same thing.

Anton would also have to follow Bruce and Susan to cast his mana water spells on the fruit orchard. He wanted to tell his father that the spell would only take him a couple of minutes, but Anders just glared at him.

Bruce and Susan led Anton to the fruit orchard that was being worked on by several farmers that was employed by the manor. One of the men working on the land walked to them when he saw them enter the orchard.

“Sirs, this land is a good, fertile land. After just a few years, the orchard will bear you sweet fruits that you can sell at a high price!” The man said.

“Anton, this is Tulo. He’s the one leading the farmers who manage the orchard,” Bruce introduced the man to Anton.

Anton knew that it would not take years for the trees to grow. Possibly not even weeks. The gardens bloomed almost overnight, according to Raymond and the others. He cast the Blizzard spell converted into Mana Rain towards the orchard. He only stopped once the whole field was soaked with mana water.

After a few minutes, Anton, Bruce, Susan, and Tulo, who were accompanying them, heard shouts from the farmers or gardeners. A quick search on the internet showed Anton that the people were supposed to be called “orchardists,” but the word felt awkward to him.

Apparently, all the fruit saplings that were planted grew until every plant was waist-high. Bruce explained to Tulo the garden’s situation. Everyone knew that the flowers from the manor’s garden were premium flowers with an unusual lifespan, even cut off from the main plant for several days, and their smell was intoxicating in a good way.

“So the fruit orchard will be the same?!” Tulo gasped when Bruce nodded.

“When will the trees be fully grown then?” the orchardist asked.

Bruce looked at Anton since the man didn’t know. Anton didn’t know as well and just shrugged.

“I don’t know that information, so it will be a good idea for you to note down everything,” Anton told Bruce, Susan, and Tulo.

Anton then cast another Mana Rain towards the field and then left after telling them that he would be doing the same thing tonight while he was in his room, since his magic could reach this field.

It was not even an hour before he was done with the fruit orchard. He simply went to his room to read a web novel until dinner. Thɪs chapter is updatᴇd by novel~fire~net

That night, they watched the sixth film in the Harry Potter film series, which was Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. Anton just shook his head when he saw that the audience grew again. The newcomers were Anna’s classmates and Laloniah’s friends.

The problem was, Anna secretly asked him for the copies of the first three films since her classmates wanted to watch them after the film ended that night. He threw the responsibility to their father and told Anna that he would give her a copy if their father agreed.

Anna glared at him, but then she headed towards their father to ask permission. At least Anton could now give out a maximum of three mini globes of browser and each one of them would last for a week. That meant that if Anders agreed, he could give Anna film one to three.

While mingling with their visitor, Anton was asked by their guests questions about the movies. He admitted to the group that he was a part of, which was the Supreme Wizards, Elianah, and some whom he didn’t recognize, who were friends with the wizards and the elf that he had thousands upon thousands of movies that included every genre imaginable.

Someone did ask him if they would capitalize the movies, and Anton just said that not for now, since the family would be busy increasing their magical strength, and the results of dungeon delving, which was part of that plan, would provide the family enough wealth for now.

Anton was candid about that information because they were not sensitive, and it would answer some people’s inquiries regarding the availability of the movies.

After a while, Anna excitedly went to Anton to inform him that Anders agreed, so he gave Anna three mini globes of browser that contained the first three Harry Potter films. When the Supreme Wizards asked Anna what those were, she told them that they were the first three films. Anna was then scolded and was told that she could only show them to her classmates during the afternoon, after the classes ended.

The impromptu party that happened after every movie ended, and Anton returned to his room. He didn’t forget to cast the Mana Rain spell towards the garden and the fruit orchard before taking a shower and resting in his bed.

During the next two days, the same thing happened every day. Every morning, Raymond would deliver his breakfast while telling him of any new information that arrived or any command that Anders wanted to tell Anton. Then Anton would spend the day basically just being idle. He would read web novels, watch movies or television shows, join the family for rest and relaxation during afternoon snacks, and sing to them if they requested, then at night they would watch the next film in the Harry Potter films.

Finally, the eighth film of the Harry Potter movie franchise ended, signaling the end of the movie marathon. Anders announced to their guest that the family would now be busy delving into the dungeon, and there would be no more movie-watching events for the next two months.

A lot of people were disappointed, but right now, the family didn’t want to concentrate on the movie theater business.
