Chapter 282: Forced to let out...

He had to give her heavy doses of the medicine daily to keep her in a comatose state. Even that was slowly becoming ineffective. Her body was a work of art; it was something that could adapt to almost anything. So, he injected one disease after another into his daughter’s bloodstream, starting with less significant diseases and progressing to more potent ones. Since her body was capable of adapting to any disease or virus, he discovered cures for many of them that continued to plague the normal citizens and soldiers.

Considering the grim situation of Germany after the war, his efforts played a significant role in the country’s recovery from the setbacks and losses it suffered after the defeat. Although his main project was quite far away, it was something like a permanent power upgrade serum with minimal drawbacks. However, as a byproduct of that research, he created cures for many deadly diseases, and even some diluted drops of Sophia’s blood seem to keep people healthy for a very long time.

And since he could draw as much blood as he needed from Sophia’s body, her body would produce more of the same blood as if it were nothing. No side effects to the host, not even the slightest. He also noticed that Sophia’s body would not age after she reached a certain point, which was around the time she turned 18. Though her level of beauty seems to be connected to the number of people she kills, her strength also increases with that same parameter.

All in all, these discoveries significantly contributed to the German military’s ability to prepare silently for World War II, without the rest of the world having the slightest idea about it. The number of brutal experiments the man committed on his very own daughter was too numerous to count. Too cruel to mention. Fritz always treated her as a monster, not as a human. He did not even understand how she was his own daughter.

But the time of the end soon came for the genius chemist who contributed to the health and well of the people and military of Germany. Just 5 years before the start of World War 2, Sophia finally managed to escape, though she had not met the conditions to awaken her full memories yet. Still, she saw glimpses of distant memories throughout the years she was forcefully kept in a comatose state by her very own father.

So, her silent and brutal character slowly managed to seep out, knowing how her father was brutally experimenting on her for all these years. Though the old man had made many preparations for the eventuality that she might wake up at any moment, those countermeasures were nowhere near enough. She subconsciously held the most significant amount of battle experience that no one could even imagine, even in their wildest dreams.

And Sophia made sure that her father’s death was not pleasant at all. His whole body was slowly and carefully melted with less potent Sulfuric Acid, to cause the maximum amount of pain. Just when she thought she would finally be free and escape. She realized a crucial mistake; this was not simply the underground of her home. This was a complete secret chamber in the middle of the military outpost.

And the screams of her father had alerted the whole of the military camp, filled with deadly modern weapons that could actually hurt her. However, she had yet to unlock her memories or a significant portion of her true strength. Only her subconscious superior battle prowess remained her trump card. She fought with all her might. But against the countless bullets raining down on her, as well as the powerful grenades and bombs. She eventually succumbed to the power of modern machinery, becoming immobile and once again captured.

After who knows how many years, she opened her eyes, and a blinding white light assaulted her eyes. Her mind was very groggy at first, like the engine of a car that hadn’t been used for decades. Then, memories and fragments of pained howls from the past assaulted her brain in an instant. As her eyes slowly adjusted to the blinding light. She realized she was immersed in some strange liquid, with a breathing mask on her mouth.

She was in a transparent glass tube, but she could see the vast expanse of empty land ahead of her, as the tube stood vertically. She didn’t understand; she expected to have woken up in a laboratory, with many soldiers holding their guns straight at her. But that was not the case, struggling to move her arms, she gritted her teeth, and called forth the white energy, using that to enhance herself, she punched and broke through the glassy pod.

The liquid contents of it poured out, Sophia breathed in loudly, finally being able to breathe real air, her entire body which had been experimented on for perhaps two decades or more reacted badly by the sudden change, however, her eyes unconsciously checked first if she was wearing proper clothes or not, she heaved a sigh of relief of seeing that she was indeed appropriately clothed. Still, both of her arms were wholly open, and there were countless small, needle-like black dots on both of her hands.

At that very moment, the memories of her past 450 reincarnations rushed to her mind like an avalanche. Her body reacted even more badly to it, as her stomach churned and she threw up a mouthful of blood. After half a minute of non-stop throwing up blood, she finally recollected herself, all of her cold ruthlessness and inhumanely cautious mind returning in full power.

She first surveyed her surroundings, and, as far as the area she could see, there was no one, except for one soldier. The soldier was holding a powerful rifle in his hand and seemed to be trembling in anxiousness. Sophia’s red eyes watched him like a hawk; the soldier was barely containing himself from firing all the bullets right at her face.
