"Hit the target!" Jin Gu's voice echoed, and the four chains immediately bound Anna in mid-air.
"Tate no Ryoku!"
Li Xing swapped places with Anna using the Nebula Blade, holding her securely in his arms. He then manipulated the nebula, thrusting it towards Jin Gu's body. However, it was restrained by the Chains of Heaven.
"You can escape the Chains of Heaven? I see. It seems my priority target should be you, unknown servant!" Jin Gu turned, swinging his hands as dozens of chains shot down from the sky.
"Tate no Ryoku!"
Li Xing once again used Tate no Ryoku, teleporting everyone to a distant location to avoid being caught in the ensuing chaos. He himself, however, was pierced by dozens of chains.
"Li Xing!"
"Mr. Li Xing!"
"Li Xing-kun!"
Fujimaru Ritsuka, Mash, and Merlin cried out simultaneously. Anna, brandishing her scythe, moved to rush forward but was pushed back by Li Xing's palm.
"Don't come any closer. I'm getting serious," Li Xing said calmly without looking back.
"Hmph! Serious? Your Spirit Origin is already destroyed. Do you think you can continue to exist in this world?" Jin Gu sneered dismissively.
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha!"
"Spirit Origin? Do you really think you can destroy my Spirit Origin? The Spirit Origin is merely a limiter, meant to protect the world. Do you truly believe a few Chains of Heaven can break through the world's barrier? How laughable!"
With that, Li Xing grabbed the chains on his body and ripped them out. In the next instant, he appeared behind Jin Gu, Nebula Blade in hand. A horizontal slash sent sword energy sweeping across half of the Mesopotamian plain.
Jin Gu reacted swiftly, flying upwards to dodge the attack. Had he not done so, he would have likely been cut down.
"The power of a Star God, truly effective." As he spoke, the holes in Li Xing's body instantly healed, and he returned to his pristine state. Seeing this, those watching from afar breathed a sigh of relief.
Just as Li Xing was about to pursue, the ground began to shake, and the houses of Uruk city started to collapse. Jin Gu's expression changed: "How can this be? How impatient can she be?"
As the dust settled, a colossal figure with the head of a human and the body of a serpent, flanked by two wings and with multiple snake heads sprouting from its hair, appeared before them.
Merlin quickly asked Roman to analyze the newcomer, as he sensed this was also a Servant.
"Spirit Origin is Divine Class, Class is Avenger!" Roman exclaimed in shock, revealing the opponent's class.
"Wind Release, Typhoon Break!"
"Water Release, Water Wall!"
Li Xing acted first, blowing the Uruk soldiers back towards the northern wall, then using water to cushion their descent and prevent them from falling to their deaths.
"Li Xing-kun, are you really not a Caster? Such a scale of magic doesn't seem like it belongs to a Saber, does it?" Merlin was astonished again by the diversity of Li Xing's abilities.
"I'm really not, but I have adaptability across all classes. It's normal to know a bit of magic," Li Xing chuckled and landed before Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash.
"The nemesis of humanity, the leader of the Three Goddess Alliance, the Mother of All Beasts, Tiamat herself has appeared. Do you not prostrate yourselves and offer prayers?" Gorgon declared haughtily to those below.
"This… is Tiamat?" Mash was somewhat reluctant to believe it. Was Tiamat really this large?
"No, she is not Tiamat. Tiamat's body is taller than a mountain, and one could reach the heavens with an outstretched hand," Li Xing stated directly, refuting Gorgon's claim without explicitly revealing her true name.
Li Xing's words shocked everyone present. To be so accurate, had Li Xing seen Tiamat before?
"Insignificant humans!" With a mere glance, Gorgon pinned everyone, rendering them unable to move.
"Deep breaths, Mash!" Fujimaru Ritsuka told Mash to take deep breaths together and relax their muscles, then they felt their bodies could move again.
"Let me handle the distraction. You all escape quickly!" Merlin stepped forward, full of confidence.
Seeing the humans below dare to advance, Gorgon shot two beams of light from her eyes. Merlin waved his staff and fired a blast of magic in return. The two energies collided, and the dispersed magic struck Merlin's body, but his body healed almost instantly.
"Hoh? In that case, I haven't used these eyes in a while. Stone statues of demigods would be fine decorations in my temple!" Gorgon's eyes suddenly changed, revealing two vertical patterns in their pupils.
"Could it be… the Mystic Eyes of Petrification? I apologize, I must retract my previous words. Fujimaru-kun, Mash, please do your best to protect me. If my consciousness disappears, it will be quite dire!" Merlin, upon seeing Gorgon's eyes, immediately hid behind Mash and Fujimaru Ritsuka.
Li Xing sighed, "Ah, you really can't maintain your cool for more than three seconds. You all retreat! I'll hold her off."
"Regrettably, Fujimaru-kun, Li Xing-kun is absolutely right. We can only retreat now!" Merlin also urged Fujimaru Ritsuka to leave quickly.
"Li Xing! You must come back alive!" Fujimaru Ritsuka declared this before announcing the retreat. However, Anna still wanted to advance.
Sensing Anna's intention, Li Xing used the same method again, blowing everyone back towards the northern wall.
"Really, don't make dramatic pronouncements when parting! You idiot." Li Xing smiled, then sheathed his Nebula Blade and looked up at Gorgon.
"Mother, please be careful. This person is very mysterious and could be a threat," Jin Gu warned, flying beside Gorgon.
"Jin Gu, go to the side," Gorgon said, then twisted her body and moved to hover above Li Xing.
"I don't really want to hurt you. Would you mind going back to rest?"
But as soon as Li Xing finished speaking, the Mystic Eyes of Petrification activated, and two beams of light shot directly at Li Xing. He raised a hand, blocking the power of the petrification with one hand.
Li Xing slowly flew upwards, his body inching towards Gorgon's face under the pressure of the petrifying gaze. Seeing this, Gorgon immediately intensified her magic, and Li Xing's hand began to turn to stone.
"Don't worry, one day, I will bring you out." Li Xing reached Gorgon's face, his body now largely petrified. He slowly extended his other hand and gently stroked Gorgon's face. Finally, Li Xing was completely petrified and fell, only to be caught by one of Gorgon's snake heads.
"Who are you? Why?" Gorgon was bewildered. Who was Li Xing? Just moments ago, Gorgon had seen a vision of Li Xing holding her as a child. It was precisely because of this that she didn't let the stone statue shatter. Gorgon intended to take Li Xing's statue back.
"Lord Li Xing!"
Ushiwakamaru cried out and leaped from the rooftop, slashing towards Gorgon's eyes.
"A subordinate of King Gilgamesh, Rider, Ushiwakamaru, comes to your aid!"
Gorgon, unwilling to waste time, extended several snake heads, intending to kill Ushiwakamaru directly. However, Ushiwakamaru was incredibly fast, dodging the snake heads instantly while also severing all of Gorgon's snake heads. But these snake heads were formed from Gorgon's hair, which was abundant. Cutting some off only resulted in more appearing moments later.
