Gorgon, having dealt with Li Xing and Ushiwakamaru, burrowed underground, arriving at the northern wall. She then burst forth from the earth, tossing Ushiwakamaru onto the ground.
The divine authority seal on the city wall activated, unleashing countless golden light cannons to strike Gorgon. Gorgon retaliated by firing purple magic cannons from her snake heads, instantly destroying the city wall.
Just then, Leonidas emerged, followed by a phalanx of Spartan soldiers.
These soldiers simultaneously hurled their spears, but they failed to even scratch Gorgon's hide.
"Forward, my friends! Condense your souls here! Guardians of the Flame Gate!"
Leonidas struck his shield with his spear, then with a wave of his hand, magic-forged shields materialized. The inextinguishable flames were the very souls of the Spartan warriors, an aura that would never dissipate, the strongest protectors.
"Turn to stone!" Gorgon roared, and multiple petrifying beams from her magic eyes shot forth. Leonidas's helmet shattered, and the shield-like city wall began to dissipate.
However, Leonidas struck the ground forcefully with his spear, managing to withstand Gorgon's petrifying beams, which greatly surprised Gorgon.
"Impossible! You can resist my magic eyes? Who exactly are you?"
"My ancestor is the great hero Heracles, son of the mighty Zeus! The king of Sparta, a kingdom blessed by Ares, Leonidas!"
"A descendant of Zeus!" Gorgon was again surprised, not expecting the person before her to be of the Greek pantheon.
"I have seen through your true form, Avenger! I have never heard of Tiamat possessing magic eyes, and one who knows my god, Zeus, and can turn people to stone like a serpent god, needs no further explanation! A goddess persecuted for being a monster! Gorgon! We Hellenes will never forget that name!"
As his shields completely shattered, Leonidas channeled all his strength into his spear and hurled it. The attack pierced directly through the petrifying beams and struck Gorgon in the abdomen, impaling her.
But Leonidas's legs had already turned to stone. In this final moment, Leonidas entrusted the future to Fujimaru Ritsuka: "Souls and humans do not perish, the rest is up to you..."
Finally, Leonidas vanished in a golden light. Lancer, Leonidas, his spiritual foundation completely gone.
"But that is impossible, the world of man will come to an end!" Gorgon laughed. With the strongest protector, Leonidas, dead, only weak humans remained, incapable of stopping her.
Just then, Ushiwakamaru shakily picked up her sword. A golden light flashed on the blade, and the petrified sword slowly recovered its original form.

After cutting down one snake head after another, Ushiwakamaru's main body finally reached Gorgon's face. She concentrated all her power into Usugu, unleashing immense magical energy that created a powerful shockwave on the battlefield.
When the smoke and dust cleared, everyone saw Gorgon's massive body. They couldn't believe that she had endured the Noble Phantasms of two individuals without a single scratch.
However, Merlin noticed a golden light emanating from Gorgon's abdomen. Fujimaru Ritsuka gasped upon seeing it. It was the Holy Grail's light.
Gorgon, however, did not use the Holy Grail's power to heal herself, believing she did not need any external aid to kill humans.
Just as Gorgon was about to attack Uruk, Gilgamesh called out to her, "Wait, Mother. Conquering Uruk is merely a step. Our true enemies are the other goddesses. We must maintain the alliance of the three goddesses before the second generation of Demon Beasts is born. And humans are meant to be tormented slowly!"
Gorgon thought of the other two goddesses and realized it was true. Once Uruk was breached, the alliance of the three goddesses would crumble, and the Demon Beasts would not yet have been born. She would have to wait. Gorgon announced that on the tenth dawn, she herself would come to destroy Uruk, then burrowed underground back to the Temple of Blood.
Upon returning to the Temple of Blood, Gorgon placed Li Xing's petrified statue beside her and fell into a deep slumber.
Meanwhile, Li Xing, whose consciousness had also been petrified, had transformed into a force of restraint. Li Xing sensed the existence of the Heavenly Realm and the Underworld.
