Chapter 79: A Perveted Fool! (Super gift Chapter}

Chapter 79

"Ah!" A satisfied sigh escaped Zen as a grin crept onto his face. He could be seen stepping out of the portal that led to the dungeon he had just cleared, his body stretched as if releasing all the tension he had carried inside.

"System! Can you see? I’m growing stronger day by day. Earlier, I couldn’t even defeat a D ranked goblin. That damned thing riddled my body with injuries, made me bleed like a rookie, and nearly ended me.

But today... Today I cleared them easily. And not only that, I even fought a C ranked boss and prevailed." Zen’s grin widened as he stood there, eyes fixed on the fading portal, watching it flicker in and out of existence before it finally disappeared from view.

"Soon enough, I will grow so strong that I will hunt the damned game lord down and make him pay for dragging me into this hell of a world. I know this is every other person’s wish, right?

To transmigrate into a different world with a system and immense power. But that’s not my wish at all. I just want to return to reality, waste my days gaming, and keep building my reputation as a pro gamer. That’s the life I want, nothing else.

So for that, I need to grow far stronger, strong enough to crush even the game lord. Though honestly... I don’t even know who the hell he is yet."

{Keep dreaming. You? Defeat the game lord? Lol! Even your clan master isn’t strong enough to try that, and you think you can? Sheesh! I think you hit your head one too many times in that dungeon.}

"And that’s exactly why I said, my dearest annoying system, I will grow stronger than even the clan master.

No one in the history of Arcad has ever reached the SSS rank, huh? Well, I’ll be the one to break that chain. And when I do, I’ll find the game lord and send him straight to hell. That’s my promise... Player Zenixx’s promise." Zen’s tone was firm, his eyes burning with determination as he turned away from the vanished portal and began heading back.

{Till then, good luck. You might die any time with the way the game lord keeps throwing challenges and dangers in your face.}

"Tch! I will live... I’ll live long enough. And maybe, just maybe, when I grow strong enough, Erin might actually take notice of me. Who knows? She might fall in love with me, and then we’ll have little kids running around that look just like us." Zen chuckled, half embarrassed at the ridiculous thought, but the small fantasy still warmed him.

{Yup! You truly did hit your head somewhere. Let’s see how you pull that off especially against someone who doesn’t even remember you exist half the time.}

"Will you shut up and stop annoying me, you damned system!" Zen shouted aloud in frustration, earning a few strange looks from birds perched on nearby branches before they scattered away.

{That’s literally my job—annoying a dumbass like you.}

"Just get lost and let me focus on my journey back to the clan. I need to brag in front of Erin and the others about how I managed to clear a dungeon alone." Zen’s grin returned as he stretched his arms behind his head, taking a long, lazy stride down the dirt path.

"I’m sure she might notice me then. I wonder what she and the others are even doing right now. Probably having fun... maybe even playing games while I’m here grinding through dungeons." Zen sighed, though his grin remained.

Deep inside, the thought of standing beside Erin as her equal someday burned brighter than any fantasy of gaming back on Earth.

Meanwhile, back at the clan, it wasn’t all fun and games like Zen imagined.

"Shit! Vynn, stop acting like this is a damned game! This is our life on the line. Be serious!" Renzo barked in anger, his voice laced with desperation.

BOOM!

A Reaver leaped high into the air, sword flashing as he swung toward the beast’s thick neck. The Lycan, however, leaned back with frightening agility, letting the blade cut nothing but air before slamming its massive foot into the man’s chest. The Reaver was hurled across the battlefield like a ragdoll, blood trailing behind him.

Before anyone could catch their breath, a female Reaver dashed forward. Her spear gleamed in the dim light as she thrust it straight toward the Lycan’s skull. The beast barely twitched its head aside, letting the weapon whistle past its face. Its grin widened, fangs glistening, and it was already moving to counterattack when someone suddenly intercepted it.

Zarin—the loudmouthed D ranked swordsman.

He appeared in front of the beast in a blur, his blade slashing down diagonally, sparks exploding as his sword clashed against the Lycan’s claws.

He tried to use the force to push the monster back, but his strength was laughably small compared to the beast’s raw power. The Lycan simply shoved forward, sending Zarin crashing and tumbling right into the path of the female spear wielder.

"Are you okay?" the woman asked quickly, her voice carrying genuine concern despite the chaos around them.

"Yes, beautiful. I’m very much okay," Zarin grinned, his teeth flashing as he couldn’t resist staring at the woman even in the middle of battle.

"Look out!" she screamed suddenly, eyes widening in horror.

Zarin spun around only to see the beast’s maw stretched open wide, its curved fangs descending toward his unguarded flesh.

"Ahhh!" Zarin’s scream ripped out before he could even stop it—pure fear echoing in his throat.

CLANG!

Jace appeared like lightning. His sword jammed itself between the Lycan’s gnashing fangs, locking its jaws in place as swirling water wrapped around his blade. His body shook under the immense pressure, grunts of pain escaping his lips as he strained against the beast’s bite.

"You perverted fool! We’re in the middle of a battle and you’re drooling over a woman? What the hell is wrong with you?!" Jace scolded furiously, his face grimacing from both anger and pain.

But before he could even attempt a counter, the Lycan roared and swiped its claws brutally across his face.

BANG!

The strike sent Jace flying, his body tearing through the air at terrifying speed, breaking sound barriers as he was hurled like a comet. Blood gushed from his mouth, spraying across the battlefield.

"Shit!" he cursed weakly as his body smashed into the ground, tumbling violently and carving deep gouges into the dirt as he skidded to a halt.

"Jace!" Aria’s voice shrieked from the steps leading up to the clan building. Her hands trembled as she stood frozen, forced to watch helplessly while her clanmates fought with their very lives at stake.

"I’m... kuk! I’m okay," Jace groaned, coughing up blood as he struggled to lift himself.

"Thunder Flash!" Vynn’s voice cracked like a whip.

The skies answered him instantly. RUMBLE! Thunder rolled across the heavens and the ground quaked beneath their feet as arcs of lightning danced wildly across Vynn’s body. He bolted forward in a streak of blinding light, so fast the human eye could barely follow.

In a heartbeat, his sword slashed upward from below in a devastating uppercut strike, the raw power behind it enough to split stone. The Lycan, however, simply pivoted with mocking ease, dodging the attack before its massive leg lashed out.

The kick slammed into Vynn’s body with brutal force.

He went flying, tumbling helplessly across the ground as blood spattered from his lips. The youngest Reaver coughed violently, his vision spinning.

"Shit! It’s... it’s getting faster," Vynn groaned, clutching his chest as he forced himself back onto his knees.
